if you really take the time to learn how to properly use xda_uc and/or nrg'z new settings exporter, you could be up and running with a new ROM in under a half hour. legit

I desperately need someone's help... I just downloaded and installed the May 1st Cookie version. I am trying to install HTC's hotfix that restores the Block and Letter Recognizer input methods (I am completely dependant on Block Recognizer). When trying to install this hotfix, I get the following error: "This hotfix is not compatible with your device."

Perhaps someone out there has this fix as a CAB install rather than the HTC supplied EXE?

I humbly beseech everyone for their assistance...

Thanks,
Chris

the setting exporter is the reason i want to flash to his new one, and i am guilty of not learning how to use the xda_uc but wouldnt being able to use ghost or something be awesome if you wanted to revert back to an older rom lol

Unfortunately XDA_UC+settings exporter cannot do everything. I even have Sashimi in the mix, and it still takes me some time to get going completely on a new flash...

Hopefully todays May 4th release fixes the AS/Exchange issue...

I know- but I remember flashing my Vogue and spending the majority of the day configuring it. I can now flash my TP2 pretty quick thanks to these new tools which is awesome!

Just thought I would say that I fixed my own problem...well, someone else fixed it, but I found it on another forum, so I figure the right thing to do is share the link here for anyone else that might be interested. Sorry if this is a repeat, but I didn't find it on this thread from a search...

Thanks anyway guys, and thanks to NRGY...
