I got an interesting issue this morning. Someone called my phone and ring could not be heard as if it was on silent mode. I checked the sounds & notifications and the proper ring tone was set (windows default). So I make a test call and nothing happens again. Then I go into the dialer properties and try to play the ring tone and I get the message saying that the file is corrupt or unavailable. Luckily, I restarted the phone and the problem went away. But I'm still curious as to why this happened.

What version of the ROM are you using?

There were posts earlier about removing a specific Opera 10 file from \Windows\Startup - It's om10qs.lnk.

i'm not certain how accurate this is. i've been cooking my own 23518 build roms and haven't even been cooking in htc messaging and still getting corrupt ring tones.

This rom looks great on youtub but for some reason I cant install it on my TP2 my carrier is Us Cellular I do beleive the phone is CDMA based, please can someone help. I downloaded three roms 2 version of energy and Juicy, every time I run the rom it seems to work but when it gets to the % bar it freezes WTF..... hit Curtis HTC....

I'm using the standard ROM from Jan 20th. My apologies if this issue was posted before.

I've heard other reports tying the ringtone issue to the HTC dialer... Not sure if they're true, but another data point for ya...

No problem - Well, there's hope - the ROM from the 25th is out, so you can give that a shot, or try the removal of the om10qs.lnk from \Windows\Startup and let us know if you find it helps.

Edit: Orginal Question i answered myself. so i wanted to know how this rom runs i have been looking into it and it seems pretty nice and hooked up. im running mighty right now but i was wondering how it runs on sprint if theres any issues or problems i havent run into anything really on Mighty but havent been using it for that long

i actually like the 23518 ROM... and overall im happy with the results (with the exception of my landscape mode, half the screen is black background, anyone know how to fix????????????? ... and how do i turn notification like for texts messages? like they had on the stock rom????????)...thanx
but the memory is still an issue, only 23MB is free which isnt much to run really any memory hog program/games! which means i cant play my NFS undercover lol...
it seems the HTC sense is taking up alot of memory!
either we need to find a way for the startup program to take less memory or WM phones should come with more memory! a tiny 256MB isnt good enuff nemore, they SHOULD know that!
