Hello to all... 1st time posting... 1st time I've unlocked a cell phone, install new ROM, etc. First and foremost.. why the !@#%#@ DID I WAIT SO f-ing long to KILL my slow glitchy stock WM ROM & load one of the Energy Roms?~~!! For all of NRG's efforts... One word... GENIUS. As of today I'm stable on the March20 Cookie ROM, and nearing the end of my day @ 75% battery. Yes, initially I only made it to noon before battery was dead... and that was a very light usage day. After tweaking EVERY possible cause of constant drain... beaming, bluetooth accepting all incoming, background usage from weather, stocks, etc... I'm seeing the same battery drain I had on stock WM6.5. NO ADDITIONAL battery drain tweaks necessary... AND at least one or two of those tweaks caused the dreaded "Cannot start Bluetooth"... forcing a hard reset. The only tweak installed is the Verizon keyboard tweak from the 1st page of this thread. MMS, SMS, Outlook email, GPS, Bluetooth (no more F-ING "Bluetooth has Disnonnected" when I exit my car!!! , FAST & Stable screen refresh & animations, VERY customizable home screen (no more need for !@# SPB shell), and most every app I need pre-cooked. I WILL be donating... as this ROM simply makes this phone into THE device I need. Thank you NRG.. I hope my donation & this testimony let you know your work is truly appreciated!

I didnt mess with any of the cabs to disable htc messaging or anything because everything else is working.

Thats weird... I am on the same rom without any of that happening. It will be time to flash again soon. Maybe next time it won't happen. Good luck!

hey nrg i need help i put your rom on my friends HTC touch pro (not tp2) and yes i used the right rom for it not this one, i backed up his contacts with pim back up but when we try to restore his contacts with the pim back up thats cooked in the rom its not finding the file for pim back up but it shows in the storage card??????????? please anyone!!!!

Try using a file explorer like resco explorer (it has a free trial if you don't want to pay). Click and hold on the file and select open with. Then choose PIM backup from the list of programs. Make sure the file has the extention .pib at the end of it also. I never had this problem, so i'm not sure if this will work for you. But it's worth a try.

Its not really a big deal as I am sure NRG will release a new rom in a couple days and I will reflash.

when i do it i dont open messaging, just delete it from the tab

all the pim files i have saved have the extension .pib at the end. Change it and see what happens. If it doesn't work, then just change it back to what it was before

Just googled it and .menc is a windows mobile encrypted file. If he encrypted the files with the file explorer and didn't decrypt them before he flashed, i think he might be screwed

Did nrg take down the roms, i clicked on 2.5 sense and the folder is empty.
