New cookie rom = best ever!!!!!

I'm running the 4/14 Cookie 1.7 version. It is great! I love the customization options for the Home tab. I've hidden the tab slider and access the calendar, msgs, mail, and weather by clicking on their respective alerts or home items. To access the contacts, I added a contacts quicklink to the hometab. Unfortunately, this opens the Windows contacts rather than the HTC contacts favorite tab or HTC contacts tab. I tried to change this in the Cookie Task Manager Applications link but there is not a contacts option. Does anyone know how I can access HTC contacts via the hometab (without using the slider)?

UPDATE: I tried manually editing the registry to make the left soft key open all the contacts. For some reason, it did not work when I tried to map it that way. It also did not work when I used B2B's tweaks for the left soft key. This cab I found posted by Klimb22 on another PPCGeeks thread finally did the trick! (I hope that I am correctly giving credit. Please let me know if I'm not...) Now my left soft key opens the HTC all contacts tab. Yea!

You can adjust the ring/vibrate options from the settings tab on the slider. Select sound & display --> ring type (for the calls) OR Notification sounds (for the notifications). The ring type section allows you to choose ring and vibrate, only ring, increasing ring, etc. The notifications section allows you to choose the sound and whether you want it to vibrate also or only. Sorry. I don't know how to change the intensity of the vibration. It is loud. Hope this helps a small bit!

does anybody know how to make the 2010 new theme work with the wallpaper you switch to? So for example if I switch wallpapers, I see my wallpaper for the entire screen, including the taskbar and menu bars. I know it's a noob question, but I can't seem to find an answer.

Is there a way to make the vibration duration any shorter?
I usually have my phone out on the desk at work.
Currently I have it so that it would "vibrate" every time it receives sms/email/phone call.
and the vibration against the desk rings throughout the office... and for so long.

It would be awesome if the vibration duration could be adjusted a bit shorter.
Or even have the ability to stop the vibration via touch of the screen or button.

I know this would be asking a bit too much... but feature idea wise...
I think it would make sense to use the proximity/level sensor to control the vibration duration.

IN SIDE THE POCKET : Long. (OK, no dirty jokes)
ON A FLAT LEVELED SURFACE : Short

Don't take this as a complaint. But rather my wish list.
I love this rom. and it's the only thing keeping me from accidentally plunging it into the toilet bowl. (But I do sense this accident to be inevitable sometime around when EVO gets released)

I had already found the ring type but didn't realize i could do more than just turn the notifications on or off. Now I found the next drill down window and I found the features I needed!

Back to enjoying the ROM again.
