I found the problem for myself already. I turned the vibe off on all my notifications. However, the default sound was the same default ring tone. All that was happening was all my notifications were "ringing". This would be a point of feedback to default the notifications to something other than the same default ring tone.

I am on the 21898 Cookie ROM from April 14th and my up/down volume keys do not work to adjust volume except while on a live call... any ideas? I didn't change any settings out of the box but something is clearly wrong... other than that really like the ROM so far... but volume keys have to work or it's a deal breaker for me... thanks in advance for suggestions...

I'm having issues with Cookie 7 as well. When the phone locks the clock and weather seem to angle themselves as if it got stuck folding. For those with the missed calls I am having that issue they show up when you slide down on the appt bar you'll see you missed a call. Great ROM but I really feel its Cookie 1.7 at the moment... Oh well for those of you with business (why you flashing a business phone?

I am on the Energy.RHODCDMA.23557.Sense2.5.Cookie.HomeTab.Apr. 14 and I have it working great! I did some modifications on it but the and I am using Max TF3D which works great changing the back grounds and transparent curtains. This is the first time I have used the Cookie version but was wondering if there was a lock screen application that does what the previous versions of Energy ROM I have used "Max" version that is? It's the one where if you get a message, text, voice mail, ect it shows on the lock and when you hit the lock it spreads out and you can slide that particular lock and it goes right to that message. Does anyone follow what I am saying? It was a late night last night. LOL

Not a big deal because I figured out how the XDA_UC thing works to some extent, but why doesn't the Verizon provisioning install the keyboard fix?

Also is there a way to have XDA_UC copy a .lnk file off of my storage card into the windows/start menu/gps folder? I dont know how to get it to do it for me and I always have to copy my Igo link over when I flash.

Sounds like ur talking about the standard 6.5.x lockscreen. If you turn the manila one off in Cookie you can still use it. I liked using Lock Device with it but right now I'm using the Cookie one. Anyways it's still there. If you go to start menu and hit the little lock icon at the bottom it brings it up!

Did you copy the shortcut link to \windows\start menu\ so its copied to the start menu tab to add as a short cut?

Because we like too! lol... You can use the bar that will show you have missed calls so you can jump to them.. You can also have it on your lock screen or just re arrange it anywhere you likeon your home screen as well. No issues with funky looking screens here with co0kie 1.7

I downloaded the Cookie rom 1.7 and have to say that I think it rocks! One problem that I am having which I had with many of MightyRoms with 2.5 is the weather updating in another timezone. I've used previouse versions of Energyroms 2.5 with no problems (partially why I switched to Energyroms for MightyRoms, nothing against Mighty but I love EnergyRoms appeal). I live in Albany, OR and when I let my TP2 find my location and give me the updated weather, it changes my clock 3 hours ahead. Remember this is using the new Cookie 1.7. When I drive just 10 miles away to other towns and my weather updates it changes the clock back to the accurate time. I was thinking that maybe it was thinking I was in Albany NY and giving the time there but the weather is always accurate (I check other "Albany" locations thinking maybe they have similar tempetures but nope). I find that if I disable the weather application or don't set it up at all when I flash a new rom (did this with MightyRoms) it gives me my correct time but no weather obviously since I haven't activated it yet. Again remember this has only happened to me on MightyRoms 2.5 and this current Cookie 1.7. Hope that made sense and can be fixed cause I love this new rom. Thanks to anybody that can help.
