Re: |R|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy "Leo" 23542/21892 |Mar 7| ★ Sense 2.5.2012 / MaxManil

has anybody gotten a new delay now when you are on htc sense i am expeiencing a quiet substantial delay to actually see the text message in the htc sense tab to reply and then when i hit back to go back to the main htc sense views it takes about a min to go back so that then i can go to the home i have tried all tweaks to make this delay disappear but still rather sluggish in this sense this is also happening when im looking at details of a contact and then when i click back toi go to main contacts tab of htc sense it takes a long amount of time too
runninh 21892 with max manila this wasnt happening with the february version it was running smoother but then again the htc sense was the 2.1 rather than the 2.5 anybody got any suggestions on the matter

Just did a complete flash dance (never have really done it this in depth before - Wipe Device, flash to stock, wipe device, flash to NRGZ, Wipe device).

Going to post my thoughts on the March 9th 23544 CHT shortly. Wish it didn't have the ebooks, documents, footprints, etc. though. Don't find it useful personally at all. Hopefully the 20mb pagepool is also enough to run smoothly.

Re: |R|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy "Leo" 23542/21892 |Mar 7| ★ Sense 2.5.2012 / MaxManil

My "Carrier Provisioning" test results with Verizon on the March 9th 23544 cookie build (no registry or menu settings were changed. Only the "Verizon" option in the carrier provision app was applied). And before it's asked again, the "Carrier Provisioning" app is found in the tools folder of your windows menu:
  1. Changed the EV icon to 3G
  2. Can send MMS fine, with correct 1.2mb size limit listed (messages will send from windows messaging, not HTC, but it's working)
  3. Can receive MMS pictures sent to myself just fine (opens in Windows Messaging when clicking the popup notification, but opens in HTC messaging from the messages tab, awesome!)
  4. If I want to send an MMS picture, I have to attach an already taken photo - I cannot launch the camera once in the "insert picture" screen (whatever it's called), only choose a picture.
  5. If I take a picture from the camera application and choose to send it via MMS, it inserts fine from there.
  6. I installed a verizon keyboard fix before I started testing the carrier provisioning, so I don't know if that was included or not.

Other observations:
  1. So far, free memory looks great
  2. Zippy, responsive rom
  3. Syncing with Active Sync just fine (edit - I had to change one setting on my PC's active sync. "This computer is connected to:" from Automatic to The Internet)
  4. No battery drain issues yet (but I never experience this on NRGZ's roms, I think the problem is between the phone and the chair ... or perhaps in some of the addons people are installing).
I am very happy with this build so far! I haven't found anything wrong with it yet, but I just flashed my baby a little bit ago, so don't take my word for it.

THANK YOU NRGZ! Great work!

Using the 3/7. Came from the 2/4 rom. Man, much quicker! I didn't have any issues with the 2/4 one which is why I waited so long to upgrade. I'm glad I did. Thanks NRG!

Punctuation people! All we ask for is a few periods to separate the wall of text into sentences.

I'm not experiencing that problem, but I'm also on 23544 CHT. Did you restore a lot of text messages? That often causes lag issues with HTC messaging

I just want to point out that I haven't flash-danced since using my TP1. Maybe that's why everyone has so many problems (I kid I kid )

Since when did WinMo users not like having more options? So many complaints about this when there's an easy fix for the extra-tab-woes:
  1. Download cabs to disable the "Tab services", which have been neatly and graciously compiled by Ninja Duck, here: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=110814
  2. Hide Tabs
  3. ????
  4. Profit!

Re: |R|6.5.5|ROM|WWE| ★ Energy "Leo" 23542/21892 |Mar 7| ★ Sense 2.5.2012 / MaxManil

Unfortunately I've got a problem with wifi..
It still blinks from blue to gray and can't connect to my network - before flashing to Mar09 it worked.
I've got that problem before maybe 2 times and then I hadn't thought too much and did GR every time - it always helped - but I'd like not to do it now (;

Will you help me ?
