I did download that for when im trying out energys roms lol.. I dont put HTC msging in mine neither & havent since i cooked my own roms. Txt msg & pics can still be viewed from the slider tab, its only when you hit all msgs you see the other screen. No biggy... It also takes out some of the bloat..

I installed becuase i wanted the sense 2.5 messaging, not the windows messaging..this is what i installed.

I'm testing the ROM "Energy.RHODCDMA.23542.Sense2.5_with_MaxManila.Mar .07" and is excellent.
It works perfect with Operadorador of Venezuela Movilnet in a Hybrid Pro2 HTC Touch (GSM / CDMA) ...

I have done the same since NRG removed it from the last few builds. And like you MMS quit working like it used to through 2.5 messaging. I quit using it and have put my love aside for this arcsoft and WM mumbo jumbo for that reason....and the fact that WM messaging holds sms in the outbox until I send a message through HTC. Which messes up setting contacts sms as quicklink since it still brings up WM rather than 2.5 when the quicklink is tapped. So it's just easier to use the arcsoft/WM jigg. Would much rather have 2.5 messaging as main SMS/MMS client like before......but I'll deal with it.

Yes, I agree with your post, but I believe this might be your problem then.

When I set my brightness to 40% I can usually 2-3 days with medium usage on a single charge.

I have never tried auto-adjust though.
