EDIT: It's just me, I'm using Slimbrowser and something screwball here. Oh well. I got it with IE. But it hurt.

I flashed the Aug 10 Cookie ROM. Went well, and then during activesync, it crashed hard. So bad, that the charging light stayed on even when not connected. Hmmm. I am thinking solar flares...

EDIT: Sorry, 23128. Restarted, and it seems so good so far... Still working on it.

Can someone comment on the new 23128 build vs the previous build that had been used, in regards to memory usage, lockups, speed, etc.

I have tried the previous builds, and always flash back to the 21911 6.1 for speed and stability, but would consider 23128 if it is a vast improvement over the previous build.

I do very little tweaking or adjusting, flash to complete in less than 15-20 mins......... My batt always does better after a day or so in which I run the fresh flash till batt is near dead (1-2%) and then let it charge to full. My usage & screen is on FAR more after my flash & set up process, rather than being on more at first to set it up so Im not buying that theory. I also know that turning the screen on just to tweak a few things is using less batt discharge than playing music a day or so after the device is all set up.

That being said I am not trying to jump in an arguement, just saying that I def. think users should look at some of the information on the topic to fully grasp how THEY feel.
I myself agree with Dave. I use sashimi to install cabs etc.. which hardly uses battery resources to restore programs and still experience battery loss. We all know that the OS controls the battery charging and that on a new flash it takes time to get used to the battery charging cycles.

Also, if I'm wrong, anyone feel free to correctme.

Tap "Start" icon > Tools > G-config

You will see a window that says "Rotated apps"

Scroll down to HTC Album and tap and hold your stylus on HTC album class until "disable" pops up and select it.

My guess is that setting will disable autorotation in the picture album. I have not tried it but I will do so before I flash another ROM this afternoon. I've also not been able to find a setting for the music player.

I checked advanced config and bsb tweaks but I have not gone throught the registry. Also searched for a "disable rotation" cab but didn't find one.

Hope that helps.

David
G-config didnt work

OK, I apologize in advance for the noob question, but is there a way to get the panel behind the slider to be solid rather than transparent and not screw up the slider? I like the slider, but on tabs like favorites and photos, the background being transparent gives me grief.
