Im pretty sure the problem is with having to fix MMS and needing to install an extra messaging service. If you dont want MMS to work you can try not installing arcsoft or whatever service you normally use and see if you have the problem.

agreed it's to do with the mms fix being used,if it were a rom issue i would have had it happen at least once by now and i got a few sprint friends at work with the issue

probably but i found htc messaging was really really slow!!!!
unless i can get the htc messaging fix cab thats on the 25th rom by itself... i wud just try arcsoft!

When sending a MMS message and inserting a picture from the camera instead of an existing picture, the resolution is set to M(320x192). THis will not let me change it, it is greyed out. When using the Camera directly, i can set whatever i want. Anyone have this problem and know how to fix it? Running the 25th Leo with MaxManilla 2.9. (2351

I actually like the HTC messaging and since theres really no way to disable it on an already cooked rom we're stuck with it anyway. There is a little bit of a lag when typing but other than that I havent had much of an issue. I cant wait for it to be fixed for Sprint the way it has for Verizon.

On another note, someone mentioned earlier the freeze caused by recieving and sending a text at the same time. As far as I can tell theres no fix for that. It sucks big time because it usually results in not being able to see the message that you got when you soft-reset.

I just installed Jan 25 21889 and first thing I noticed is the startup sound. Wheres the one from the last build?! I enjoyed it so much I would restart my phone just to hear it! Not really, but I did enjoy it. I know I can manually change the startup sound so can someone post the wav/mp3 file here for me?

nevermind its there. Initial startup didnt have the sound but subsequent did. I can die a happy man!

whats with the camera in this rom? the one from the 14th ran pretty smooth, 20th and 25th the camera is pretty much unusable.

Yeah same issue here, every time I'd take a pic it would freeze up or just freeze when i pressed X on the camera to close it lol

And then when I'd reset it it would break my sms!

I havent had the lockups but am having resolution issues only when using the camera through mms. when i use it natively, it works fine. I have had a few lockups and now that you mention it, it may be that I was using the camera, i will have to keep an eye on it. Thanks!
