I am on the Energy "Leo" 23518|Jan 25| ★ Sense 2.5 and it works great. The only thing I would like to be able to do is:

1. Get rid of QuickMenu
2. When I close an application I would like it to close. I have tried everything and everytime I hit the "x" it just keeps it in the background.

Is there anyway with the 23518 build to get the old HTC Task Manager installed and working? Thanks for the help.

Any trick to helping this Memory leak? I am tired of programs being closed on me. Makes Multi tasking impossible. If i wanted a iPhone I would have got one. I think it may help the insanely horrible battery life we get.

Yeah I flashed back to an older NRG rom. That didnt work so I decided to flash to the newest Verizon rom to see if that might resolve the problem. That didnt work either. So, that is where I stand at this moment. Sitting here awaiting the like new tp2 from fedex. I just really hate to send them my tp2. I have relocked it and such. Ho hum...any other suggestions?

what rom you running? also be specific about the exact problem,after this last release i only see you and a few others out of hundreds of flashers who is having this issue based on the last few days post

Does anyone know if the Jan 25 roms without maxmanila have the txt messaging problem where the led keeps blinking...even after you've read the message?

Sorry should have posted that...Jan 25 23518 MAX. If I load opera, then check out google maps ( sometimes just with these two apps running) I go to switch back to Opera and it has closed. I have also opened a third app onced and watched my memory trickle down to 0 then it boosts up to 40-50, because it closed a program on me.

lol ok i gotcha bro,damn sounds like the same problems i use to have when using my tp with a whopping 192mb of ram (thanks vzw) glad the tp2 isn't that way


IMO i think the MM roms are buggy just my .02, i have always had better results ram and issue wise running standard and then installing MM on top of it plus i read this thread closely and just within the last few days post you can see MM rom users have more issues than standard users

im using 21889 with MM installed on top and tethered to my laptop here at work lol sitting steady @ 59% being used and have been tethered since 8 am and it's 10:39am here currently,if there is a leak its minor but when i was on the MM roms..........don't get me started lol,if you don't wanna flash or HR try turning sense off to net some free ram for using apps like opera and such,freeram,cleanram are useless even after you add the manila.exe to the exceptions list to keep it from crashing

I have just flashed 23518 (25th JAN) ROM. Before that I had MightyROM. Everything works fine except GPS. With previous ROM my GPS used to work immediately without any tweaks. Now I have to run Quick GPS (7 day trial) to get GPS lock and that too outside the building (previously I was able to get GPS inside the 10 story building). I have followed all the intructions from the 1st post and even then I have this problem. Any help is appreciated.

This only happens to me if I use Disable HTC Messaging. It's also the reason why the 1 Unread SMS bubble stays around
