Hey NRGz when are you going to support mms into your rom. I would love if it came equipped because i cant figure out how do get mms to work

I saw in another post and I remember seeing a screen shot with a ROM having the capability of showing whether an update is available for that particular ROM. Any chance this would be added to the versions here?

there's a major bug in the latest rom, and that is the bluetooth.
it just doesnt turn on.
at first i thought it had something to do with htc software, but even under the windows setting it wont tourn on.
i used a bluetooth headset a lot so this is a deal-breaker for me.
anyone having the same problem?

No issues here. I use Bluetooth all the time, and have never had an issue using Energy's ROMs, with one exception: Hanging up a call from the button on my BT headset does not always work, and I sometimes have to hit the end button on my phone. Otherwise it's fine, including voice dial using MSVC.

OK, I'm running EnergyROM_23518_RHOD500_14.Jan.2010_StandardM2.5, which is the latest rom released from NRG, gotta say MUCH better than Dec 17 version.

I have two issues:

1. Sprint TV (Sprint_TV_1_7_189014_0.cab) will load fine the first time it's ran and then will not load any time after the first. It just goes to the TV, radio, Premium menu and you cannot select one of them. I've tried uninstalling it from the SD card and reinstalling it on the device with the same results, fine the first run then nothing... Any ideas???

****Figured out this issue. The main menu buttons(Sprint TV, Sprint Radio, Premium Channels) for the sprint tv app would not accept touch input. I had to slide out the keyboard and hit enter. When the tv came up touch works just fine. Hope this helps if anyone else runs into it.

2. I've noticed with all of the NRG roms, there is no "Advanced" tab in the phone settings menu. This is the tab where it allows you to select whether to vibrate on connect, edit text message to send a caller if busy, all that. Is there a specific cab I can install to add this functionality?

Did you follow the instructions in the FAQs on page 2 of this thread. Yesterday was the first time I flashed a rom with sense 2.5 and I was easily able to get MMS up and running. It was as simple as installing a CAB to disable HTC messaging, rebooting the phone, then installig the Sprint MMS fix CAB. I doubt NRGz can set the rom up to have MMS working out of the box since the server setting have to be entered depending on which carrier you are running. Since there are 3 major carriers that sell the CDMA version of this phone, it will always require changing the server settings either manually or via a cab. The only thing that could be done by NRGZ to assist would be to disable HTC messaging by default. I doubt he would do that since it is very possible that some people would be willing to sacrifice MMS in order to use HTC messaging.

I have got that error when using youtube also, but the issue i have way more often is youtube has no sound...

Ok, so let's see if anyone had duplicated this problem.

I am using Jan 14 23518 build.

I set up my Yahoo account, change it to download the last 7 days, every 15 minutes. Everything goes great for a couple days and then I wake up to find 6 months of emails. Check the settings, still set to 7 days, try changing it to 3 days to see if it'll resync. No dice. Will not connect...no matter what I do, will not connect.

Only solution I've had that works is to delete the account and then start it over.

This was also happening on the Dec. 31 28xxx build.
