I'm running EnergyROM_23518_RHOD500_14.Jan.2010_StandardM2.5, which is the latest rom released from NRG.

Has anyone gotten Skyfire to work? I keep getting a no data connection error message. Opera and IE work fine. What's going on!!

Nothing to do w/the Rom, Has to do with poor coverage, Happens all the time where I live, need better coverage.

Yeah, I'm guessing it's a skyfire issue and not a ROM issue...

Did that version of Dusk change your Start menu screens? Usually there are 4 columns of icons, after installing, there is only 3 columns and icons are bigger. That is the smallest of the problems.

Left soft key disappears, right soft is there but doesn't function. The clock usually always do something weird. At times after install, digital clock is there but clock background doesnt change. I get a blank gray square next to the clock, clock arrays will always give this result. This happens with almost all clocks not just Dusk, even ones that are 1922 friendly.

I am on 23518. The biggest of my problems happen when I try to uninstall Dusk. Icons in the start menu get mashed together and overlap so bad that makes it unusable, then I would have to hard reset.

New issue that popped up on the Jan 14 Standard 21xxx rom, every now and then, when i type with the full QWERTY keyboard, the keyboard will pop up when i press to access it, but then i type keys and it wont type at all and the keyboard goes away, has to be soft reset because it wont work at all when that happens. any ideas? happens on both full and shorter qwerty keyboards.

If you open the keyboard first and then tap inside the field to place the cursor, it'll work. i have the same prob.

Skyfire is currently DOWN!!

xemplifying the danger of a centralized system such as Opera Mini and also Skyfire, the browser service has just gone down after a power issue in their data centre.

The service, which is currently not reachable via the browser, uses virtualized Mozilla-based browsers to support full internet browsing, including flash video, on Windows Mobile and Nokia phones. This means then there is no connection to the data centre, there is no browsing either.

Skyfire is in the process of recovering, and hope to be fully operational soon.

Most other browsers on the Windows Mobile platform, such as Opera Mobile, uses local rendering, and are immune from the particular issue.

yes it did change to a three row menu,the clock messed up 1 time but after going through them the issue vanished and hasn't repeated,both my soft keys work action screen and menu,never got the square box which i know that you are referring to. i don't use 23xxx builds often so i don't know,just haven't seen this with 21xxx

all i did was install on a fresh flash as mentioned previously

same problem here, I dont think it's coverage issue. opera and other data service working fine. Skyfire's the only one that doesnt work. It could be skyfire or rom but not coverage.

So far I've tried several roms. and my review of this one (23....) in just one word is: BUGGY!

-no MMS
-bluetooth not working
-BeyondPod and other applications not working properly
-keyboard is mixed up.
-music stops when using other apps, such IE.
-etc...etc....

yes I did the flash dance, and yes I know there's a fix for the keyboard thing, but still. the rom as it stands right now is just not cutting it for me.

going back to the all-mighty rom, as it is way less buggy than this one.
