Need some help, I ran the Energy Reference 21911 July24 on my verizon TP2 and it completed just fine but when it boots it just hangs at the "TouchPro2" screen.

Is it bricked? Is there a way to get passed that? Why is it just hung at this point in the startup process?

I'm on the new Energy GTX Jul 24 ROM with Verizon...I am trying to disable the sms/mms sent notification bubble and have found some things on this site that say to change HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Inbox\Settings\SMSNoSentMs g to 2 instead of 0 or 1....well I did that and it works great and all but everytime i receive (not even sure if this is what triggers it?) a message it resets itself back to 1 and I get the bubble....anyone have any idea what is causing this to reset itself so annoyingly?....i appreciate any help in advance..

I assigned favorites to my favorites links and did not get the picture of the website. I opened the page in opera via the quick link (on the web tab in sense) and still didn't get the picture. Did a SR and still no.

Fianlly read the post about opening the browser from the "launch browser" "globe" on the tab and the pictures appeared in the proper quick link.

wait, now I think *I'm* confused....

Just hard reset (red button under batter cover on side) and hold the volume down and end key, wait for the tricolor screen, and reflash. As long as you get the TP2 boot screen you haven't bricked it.

sometimes the rom also takes some time to load and seems like its hung on the Touch Pro 2 screen...especially on first boot after flash...

i downloaded Energy.RHODCDMA.23673.Sense2.5.Reference.Jul.24.7z . open zip and i have these . what should i do for next step

I know this is off topic but since I only go on this form I might as well ask

What other ROM's do people like because this ROM is way way wayyy to buggy for me. I get so many freezes a day, at least 6, that most times I have to disable Sense and run Windows Default just to get thru the day

plug in your phone
hit the botton on ur phone that says ActiveSynce
view the unziped file in the explorer
then hit the button that says RhodumCDMA_SoftwareUpgrade

From your signature it looks like you are running the 23xxx series ROM, which is the top of the line of the ROMs and has all the buttons and whistles, if you want to run a good ROM that is stable flash the 21xxx series ROMs as they are made to be more stable.
