We traced this down on bigs rom to being caused by the HTC messaging. I was able to make it happen just by installing the HTC client. I don't know if you installed it or by some random chance caused it to trigger. Only fix is to HR.

Yes, but I think its a known issue with the swipe keyboard. The other keyboards work fine for me.

You're right. Strange that it affects the hardware keyboard too, though. Also, I had a version of Swype on my Diamond that did not exhibit this bug. Maybe whoever made that version made one for the TP2. On that version, if you swyped a name, it would type "D.A.V.E." and then delete a few characters. I always wondered why it did that, but this bug explains it.

Please any information regarding the text messaging problems with Sprint with this ROM. I have to soft reset atlest 15 times a day because for some reason the phone freezes when your texting and recieving a text at the same time. I dont want to ditch this ROM. I like it but this things is annoying.

sounds like you need to reformat the card....I would get everything and i mean everything off of it besides pics and vids....reformat and start from scratch with it....I know that sucks but if you do not....you are more than likely looking at potentially losing data anyways...
