Re: |CDMA Rhodium|¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- 'Energy' |Jun 19| 21905|23569 | MaxSense / Sense 201

Anyone know how to turn off the bpages of warnings you get when you go into Settings/Personal/Phone/Location Settings and turn on the GPS?

I've used another rom before and when I would go to turn on the GPS, I didn't get the pages with text, just the On/Off buttons.

Thanks

I'm not sure if it accomplishes the same thing, but when I enable QuickGPS and download the latest satellite information it asks if I want to turn "my location" on.....

Oh, and gig 'em!

I'm running the latest Dinik rom with 12M pagepool and I am not having any problems at all. Very smooth and fast. I was having lock ups with the last version though.

Re: |CDMA Rhodium|¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- 'Energy' |Jun 19| 21905|23569 | MaxSense / Sense 201

I was able to confirm that the Sense "black screen" issue coming out of a company-enforced password lock policy issue found on the Cookie ROMs (this time, 6/19 23569) has to be related to corporate ActiveSync policies.

My company enforces a password lock policy and encryption policy. After flashing, I configured my phone to the company Exchange server... "black screen" issue appeared.

I then, killed my connection to the company Exchange server, phone prompted to decrypt/reboot. The password lock policy stayed on the phone (but you can actually choose to remove it now since there is no enforcement).

In this case, choose to leave the lock policy in place; after giving the phone 30 minutes to lock, I unlocked and the phone was good to go.

I'm sure this effects all Cookie users ever since the v1.8 series was released. I had no issues prior to these new versions of Cookie.

Thanks NRGZ...

Riptide9 made a post with a bunch of battery tweaks to help with the battery life. I have definitely noticed major battery improvements with these edits which were posted here:http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showpost.p...ostcount=19285
I have created an easy to install .cab that includes all of the battery tweaks posted in that post. Works great on Energy roms, and probably will work just as well on any other rom too. Enjoy!!
