CHT 1.8 Locking up issue - Jun 6 21905+23569

Been playing around with the new rom and looking into the locking issue. Seems the new CHT 1.8 rom is using alot more memory. When I unloaded some stuff, i made it stable but of course necessary apps that werent loaded caused other problems....like no phone calls . Back rev'in to May 28th until a workaround is available.

EPST tools just give you a shortcut to the ## tools , shouldn't do anything with your signal... unless you changed something by using the ESPT tool in edit mode.

This impacts the 4 varieties of the ROM, but wouldn't affect the other 4 for the same reasons.

+1 ... Hard to help if you can't be more specific

So on the bluetooth not hanging up issue... reverting to the stock BT drivers fixed the issue for 1 person. Even though it is 50% I still think that we are on to something here. I understand people are saying that they don't have issues on MM's roms but they do on NRGZ. So I would start looking at what version of BT drivers MM is using. Even copying the BT dll's from his rom and trying them on NRGZ.

The phone will continue to power on and back for a bit, then the screen goes black (with backlight still) but pretty much requires a soft reset to get back in action.
Besides that though, one hell of a good rom.
I am still running the 22nd version and have had 0 problems!

Is it possible to remove some of the programs included in the latest ROM (cookie)? Thanks!

Re: |CDMA Rhodium|¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.- 'Energy' |Jun 6| 21905|23569 -.¸¸.·´¯`·.¸¸.·´¯ MaxSen

Running the June 6th 23xxx CHT 1.8, and the only lockups I've had occurred when I was using the CHT lockscreen, similar to older versions of CHT that also caused massive lockups when using the CHT lockscreen.

When I first used CHT, I thought the lockscreen was great but would get lockups all the time when I'd try to wake from standy/suspend. Once I disabled the CHT lockscreen and went back to the built-in one (which thankfully had the "lock on standby" option), all was fine.

When I saw that the changelog for CHT 1.8 said it had some lockscreen improvements, I tried again to use the CHT lockscreen. It worked great - for a few hours. But then it started to freeze and SOD like before. So, in CHT Editor, I disabled the CHT lockscreen, but kept the setting to Lock on Standby setting turned on (thereby defaulting to the windows lockscreen), and I've not had a lockup since.

For what it's worth, I do have the media player on my home screen in CHT (and use it quite a bit since it's there) and have had no issues with it - so long as I don't use the CHT lockscreen.

Would be nice to have the full CHT lockscreen working, but for now, I'm just happy with the rest of CHT 1.8 and the fact that when I hit the button on the top of my TP2 to "turn it off (standby)" I know that it is also locked in my pocket but that I can expect it to wake up again just fine.
