I didn't check NRG's cooked-in Arcsoft to see what build it was.

NRG's arcsoft is older at 5.2.7. I think 35.
This in itself does not matter, but what does matter is that for some reason the cooked in Arcsoft is not playing well.

I believe the reason that "Sprint MMS cab" works for some and not others is exactly what member "htcsql" posted erlier for similar issue with verizon MMS cab:
"(Arcsoft) messaging cannot be changed/updated while its active.."

So you will need to disable/turn off Manila in settings;
then soft reset;
then try that Sprint MMs setting cab, OR install this updated Arcsoft cab for Sprint, I will post.
THEN enable Manila AND soft reset..
NOW it should work.

I always found the 23xxx rom Builds faster than the 21xxx Builds,
I may have to pinch myself as this latest 21898 Build is noticably faster and practically feels as fast as a 23xxx rom, yayeeaaa..

Better part of a day in and seems very stable and fast. Battery seems good also, not measured. Data connection to Sprint, for the 1st time ever is a little odd. After doing all my Sashimi 'stuff', including some normal Win6.5.5 and Sense 2.5 registry entries, I found my network set to 'Global'. I normally change that 1st thing, so maybe I forgot. Anyway, my dialer wasn't right, so I set myself to 'CDMA only' and fixed the dialer, but my data connection took a couple of soft resets to calm down and stop asking me for a userid (not necessary on Sprint). I 'think' I'm all good now.

This ROM rocks, I always rocked the Energy Series on the TP1 but got bad battery life so I was shying away from testing the waters on the TP2. I finally took the plunge b/c someone hasn't updated in nearly a month. I have to say this ROM(3/30 - 23554) made it though a day of heavy use including watching a episode of The Wire and it's still kicking. I unplugged it at 5:00am and I have 30% battery life left at 10:42pm

So....which is better? I've been using the Cookie one. Is Max better? Or cookie? What's the general feeling? Why? Just curious.

Edit: yes i've read the differences...i just didn't completely understand them. one maybe more customizable? i dunno.
