Makisu has been pretty hit-and-miss on 6.5.X ROMs for me. I've had quite a bit of trouble with it and since Sashimi isn't something that is being actively maintained by Benglih anymore, I'm finding alternatives to do most things that Sashimi does...other than install cabs, natch.

So far this seems to be the only problem I've had, I've gone through my messages several times, including my email and outlook(even though I dont use it), but cant find an unread message for the life of me.

Tried using the mark all as read in all categories but it doesn't seem to help, the next best thing I found was a soft reset.

No biggie really, just gets annoying since I'm in the habit of looking at the taskbar for new messages rather than message tab.

What kind of issues? My provisioning XMLs load fine, and my email accounts normally work fine after a flash and Sashimi load.

I haven't tried coreplayer on Mar9, but you may want to wait for the USC driver set. Could be something with the video drivers used on this build.

Same here on Mar9 CHT. Occasionally, I'll get a ghost notification in taskbar, but no notification of new messages on the slider or anywhere else.

Love the ROM. MMS (Verizon) works out of the box as does everything else. Strangely though, when I load Aloqa, it doesnt size appropriately for the screen. When I attempt to edit my channels the text is off screen and there is no option to scroll left to right since it is 'supposed' to be fit to screen. Anyone else having this issue that is familiar with Aloqa? I have tried to reload it on several occassions but get the same result.

That happened to me awhile ago. I ended up having to call Verizon; I just told them I got the error after flashing to the WM 6.5 release. They fixed it without any issues.

Just flashed MM 23544 - Verizon User. Had one SOD after installing all my fixes/settings. I guess another vote here for the older drivers....Super fast ROM though - excellent job!

If you still have it after this, you can try going HERE and downloading fixunreadcount, but I'm using the cookie version so I can't test it.

I had the same issue, and had to use the FixUnreadCount registry edit. Probably the same thing the cab does
