Why does it take forever for contacts section to load facebook pictures if I set it their contact picture to be their facebook picture.

Facebook updates evey 2 hrs... go to all contacts... go to the updates and events tab... click menu>update now

So i've been running the 21892 cookie ROM for no problem for half the day, I finaly had everything setup the way i wanted and all of a sudden after a soft reset it didn't want to take my lock code, so i did 10 retries and it wiped the device.

ok, so i promised myself that i wasn't going to do any custom rom flashes on my new tp2. so after a week i caved and installed the energy rom i can't remember which one i donwloaded. two questions. is the fm radio working on this i have sprint? i know i have read posts that it doesn't but not sure how old they were. wasn't sure why it would be cooked in if it wasn't working. and other is i don't see any weather animations. did i download one without it or do i have to do something to enable them?

It will not work with any ROM right now on Sprint CDMA phones. It's cooked in because NRG has a GSM phone and it works.
On the weather try changing to a different weather wallpaper and it should start working.

No CDMA TP2 has the actual chip for the FM Tuner, so it hasn't/doesn't/will never work. Very sad, yes I know.

However we have some great streaming alternatives Slacker Radio is updated and now working and it's great!

BTW, that was a stupid promise to make to yourself!

I was really excited about the ebook reader until I tried to use it and realized it was a memory hog and pretty much unresponsive. I headed over to xda to see what else was there and sure enough...

It takes longer to load a book, but has a much smaller memory footprint and is responsive to gestures. Enjoy...

Yeah, I read about Freeda's update on the main page of XDA today but haven't tried it yet. I was going to try it out for a while until a more stable build with ebook reader comes out (prolly a couple of months I'd bet). I just like the idea of it so much, very much like when manila messaging came out and was bad but I liked the idea of it
