Thanks, I have thought about using BING as well. Will BING work if your data connection is down. How about if you are talking on the phone? I think BING needs a constant data connection, right?

Just double checking, but are you having problem trying to flash the ROM or is it something after flashing the rom? So pretty much if you are going from Mighty to this, I recommend running task29 here:

Instructions are pretty straight-forward. So pretty much after you are done with step 4, just go to the ROM folder (you will need to extract the rar file out to a folder or so using winrar or 7zip or similar program). After that, double click on the RomUpdateUtility.exe and follow the instructions and you should be good to go. I do another clear storage too if I was you before start fully using the rom. Good luck.

thanks 4 your reply. i curently am on mighty rom and want to try max sence.i have downloaded task 29 and winrar{ive extracted rars b4} ithink i got most of it but step 2 what does execute task 29 mean?

Step 2 asks to run the romupdateutility.exe file

Yea unfortunately it does require constant data for map data. Last time i recieved a call from someone while using the gps it muted the gps and resumed once the call was finished.

Ron, if your question is what does task 29 do (why do I run it?), task29 is one of several methods to clean RAM before loading a different ROM. If you d/l a Mighty ROM before, you probably read about 'flash dance' before loading Mighty. Task29 is an alternative to 'flashing to stock ROM' (which clears RAM before flashing). If your question is 'How', I execute the Task29.exe from a USB attached PC before then flashing the MaxSense ROM. This clears the RAM before flashing the new ROM. Hope this helps.

don't think it got linked on front page, but it's in this area....found it quick but it is VZ's, so you will have to scroll from there and find Sprint's, but this should get you close. You might also want to consider waiting, on Big's front page it says a new rom is in tester's hands right now with some fixes done. Hope this helps!
