I might be confused, but what deck just put out is a 6.5.5 rom with the start menu and all that on the bottom and that's the way it is, only 6.5 comes with it at the top unless there's a new mod out that lets you move 6.5.5 to the top that i'm not aware of

there is a mod that will let you click on the top left of a 6.5.5 rom that will bring up the start menu like in 6.5


the only way to bring up the start menu on this beta is using the hardkey... no problem cause i have used roms like this before but i liked the mod when i say it on the FF MM rom.

oh ok, I stand corrected, well I'm sitting down but you know what I mean lol. I'm personally not into the 6.5.5. roms, at least not yet, didn't care for the 6.5.3 when I had my TP1 and I'll just continue to use a 6.5 rom as long as they are around.

i was the same way. but the way com5 has been lately, i have completely jumped ships.

so that sounds like your only going to start making 6.5.5. roms now huh? either way I'm still out of the country for a couple more months so I'll let things get refined and get worked out, guess I'm old fashioned and takes a little longer to get used to changes. I do appreciate you putting out your work and hope things are getting worked out in RL and we see you around more.

6.5.x builds are getting better and more stable. We're on the horizon of 6.5.x roms being good enough for an everyday use & more chefs are cooking strictly 6.5.x roms. I'm looking forward to trying out this rom as soon as it is finalized.

yeah don't get me wrong I will change when it comes to that but I personally like 6.5 and I'm sure 6.5.5. is about like it was for the 6.5.3. with the TP1 and like yardizidifer said once they get better and more stable which I figure should be done by the time I get back stateside I'll be more happy with the switch.

Deck, thanks for the great Rom, your icons are something to behold, makes the phone look that much more easier on the eyes. I tried the R13, decided to go back to the R12 which was great, but can't because the R13 won't allow activesync/mediacenter to connect/initiate. I have been trying all day, for literally hours and everytime I try to activesync the phone freezes. Using the phone as a hard drive works fine but choosing the activesync conection freezes the phone every time. I have not added any programs whatsoever and have hard reset several times with the same result after trying to flash - no activesync connection means no flash. How can I flash back to another Rom in light of this issue? Thanks.

try flashing from internal storage. make sure your microsd card is formatted to fat32 (if not, change it but it will erase the data on the card). take the r12 .nbh file and rename it to RHODIMG.nbh and put it on the root of your card. turn off the phone. hold volume down and hold the power button until you reach the tricolored screen. its the only way i flash, hope it works for you.
