yea that fix causes that ... its the sms patch file ... you can send a text message to yourself and basically wait for it to arrive while your in the messaging client view and it will decrement the count once it arrives. i personally got annoyed at the file, i just deleted it from the startup directory and just live without any kind of count and blinking light ... i still get the notifications and that works good enough for me as an indicator i have sms lol.

Deck, Great ROM you have here couldn't ask for more, but I do Have one question. How do you get the document tab back on the slider.

thx for your effort but when i hit the exe all it says is

examining activesync

examining sms
and some variblse about deleted items ok etc

all done

but i still have the problem

Carvation - I think the program worked okay.
The real problem seems to be outlined in post 1441 at the top of this page.

It is not part of this (r8.5) build of the ROM so you can't get it back (unless you can conjure up a cab somewhere but I haven't saw one)......until r9....maybe......deck was workin on getting Docs and EReader to work with the package for r9.....so there is hope for your request!
