If you installed the 2016 fix then you should be good. Not sure why this is happening to you. Did you reset after the install?

also, after installing the fix, u will need to delete any messages with the incorrect timestamp, then soft reset.

I don't know the direct answer to your question, but I use Klaxon instead of the built in alarm clock. Much more control and you can use any sound you want (such as MP3s) for your alarm sound. I can't live without it now.
