Uploading a new sprint rom. I switched out the lockscreen files from an older 6.5 rom. Maybe this will help, as it could be a cpr file issue.....? Anyways, rom will be up within the hour. I have used the lockscreen with PIN input several times now without a glitch.

Ok. Setup Exchange and ran the program and no go. Also changed registry settings and nothing. Still locking up. Frustrating! Why is yours the only one that does this?

UPDATE: Saw you are uploading new rom with new lockscreen. Crossing fingers!!

Re: <> 2-19-10 <> Medium Hill Rom's <> SYS 23534 & 21890 <> MH UC & Provisioning v3.1

I am at a loss for a reason really. I use the same SYS files as everyone else, and the same packages for the most part. One thing is allot of people edit their lockscreens. I have read that the stock lockscreen cpr files can cause issues when using PINs. So I reverted all the lockscreen files to an older 6.5 version. If this doesn't work, I have one more thing I can try, but if that doesn't work, I really have no clue. I have done all the research I can, and have posed questions to a couple other people. I personally haven't had to use the PIN system on lock before. But I did try that before I switched out the lockscreen files, and did seem to notice some issues, but once I switched the files, no issues were there, so maybe this will help. 30 mins left on the upload, so I hope this helps.

I just had a couple of ideas. bkimbler, can you look at your processes in the taskmanager (not showcase, but the taskmanager in the utilities folder) and list them all please.

Also, here is the newest test rom, but I have one uploading right after this though. I have a couple theories to test. This test rom link here has the new lockscreen cpr files.

This is immediately after a soft reset:
Device.exe
cprog.exe
filesys.exe
services.exe
gwes.exe
manila.exe
shell32.exe
voicecmd.exe
commManager.exe
repllog.exe
tmail.exe
connmgr.exe
taskmgr.exe
bttrayce.exe
omc.exe
putlook.exe
showcasesuite.exe
nk.exe

Again, I did a soft reset and went straight to task manager.

is that after or before having exchange setup? I could really use the listing after setup of exchange if that's possible if it doesn't lock on you, and btw, i think i have it figured out, cross your fingers.

Re: <> 2-19-10 <> Medium Hill Rom's <> SYS 23534 & 21890 <> MH UC & Provisioning v3.1

thanks for your continued help. I have a strong feeling if test 4 doesn't fix it, i'm about 99% sure the one i'm uploading now will. Test 5 uses a different taskmanager. Test 5 that is uploading now uses the x2 taskmanager. But i am modifying showcase currently, as i do like it better, to hopefully get it working. If test 4 works, great, then it was the cpr files. If not, test 5 will be up soon, and that should definately work. I got to thinking... what do i use that no one else does.... showcase... hence the x2 test 5 version thats uploading now. So... what i'm doing for test 6 is modifying the showcase exclusion list to include a few other things. If test 6 of the modified showcase doesn't work, then we will just stick with x2 task manager from now on. That's why i'm asking for your specific processes list, so i can add them to showcase.

I ran test 4 and setup Exchange and it locked up after a reset. Am doing a hard reset and will setup Exchange and will post my process list before I do a reset.
