I'm running the 21911 July 14th max sense... Anyone else having an issue with the slide out keyboard working? How about landscape/ landscape timeouts? If anyone can help me out here.. I'd appreciate it. Thanks.

Just one question... has anybody tried to use Sprite Backup with the new ROM ?

am I just too old school for using sprite backup ? (i don't use it "cross roms") just on the same rom when I try different roms and want to comeback to an old one...

I don't use it. You're probably better off using Sashimi or the built-in XDA UC. I switched over from Sashimi to XDA UC and I like them both about the same.

Running 23569 GTX Jul 14 ROM here. Works better than Jul 2. Has the GTX issues of messasge sender on message tab cutoff and email tab being off center. GTX fixes from the GTX thread didn't fix. Are there any NRG fixes out there?

+1 on that.
email tab - the paper is off center to the right, but still mostly readable
text tab - everything is too high, the sender is cut off
music/stock/pics - i tend to stay away from those for different reasons, so i can't really report on them.

this has been an issue (along with no wifi) with the last few 23xxx GTX roms, but the issues may be related to GTX itself. I'm considering just using the regular 2.5 cookie or standard, but I've really liked GTX. Here's to hoping someone figures out some fixes. I'm downloading 7/14 right now...

Thanks... I thougt the default one would be also but it is not... I had this problem with Mighty Rom also once I changed the wallpaper in tf3d or sense, I could never find the default one. The one NRG puts on the GTX rom is white with an " Aerosmith" looking wing on it.... I can not find it anywhere to assign back through cookie.....

Those aren't in the rom by default. Use this to add them back in. All it actually is is some registry settings. I'd also drop it in your XDA_UC folder so it gets installed every time then you won't need to worry about it after this.

I don't know about the landscape timeouts, not sure what that means. Regarding the hardware keyboard I'm running 23569 Maxsense. I found the keyboard would not work right after flashing but a soft reset fixed it. This happened both after the initial flash and again after I did a hard reset the next day. Have you done a soft reset yet?

Have you tried re-selecting the "EnergyROM 2010 new" theme?

If resetting alone doesn't work, have you installed any cabs & then reset? Maybe just superstition, but I seem to remember folks saying that helped.

Got about a day in with the 7/14 23569 cookie/dink rom, coming from the 7/2 version. Big improvement! None of the occasional wtf moments of the 7/2 version, and very speedy. If anyone is waiting on the fence on whether to go to this version, it's looking very good to me!

OK, took me forever to figure this out, so I thought I'd post it just in case others want the same functionality. I HATE the Total Commander GUI & find it a hassle to unzip files with. If you feel the same way & want to easily explore zip files with just one tap, you have to de-associate TC from zip files. To do so, open TC, highlight a zip file, select properties from the menu, select the associate tab, then change the command and icon file to zipview.exe. Now dealing with zip files is next to effortless using File Explorer. Props to razorloves for the tip!
