haha.. ya maybe its just to indicate that its a fuzzy/far away background so that very graphical images are not confused with icons and words.. Sometimes it can be the simplest explaination, but I have no idea if it was ment to be that way.. I guess I'm going to have to give MAX a try and see what its all about.. I use xdandroid to goof around when I'm totally board (but the data doesn't work (cricket wap, wifi works)) so its unusable for me..

On a second note I still need some help with the auto light thing from a few posts ago if anyone has any ideas...

I clicked your link about the background fuzzy issue and I would have to say that my guess earlier was correct.. I see no other reason for it and also the "slide screen" is perfectly clear with the same image.. I would have to say that I think "that's the way it was ment to be".. I'm sure there is some way to change that but honestly I wouldn't want to.. my 2c

Just one question... has anybody tried to use Sprite Backup with the new ROM ?
something goes wrong when sprite does a ghost of my phone, the resulting file becomes unusable and unrecognized.
there seem to be something delaying the "boot up" as after a minute after cookie loads up my phone makes a vibrate pulse and goes back to the home screen no mater what I do.

am I just too old school for using sprite backup ? (i don't use it "cross roms") just on the same rom when I try different roms and want to comeback to an old one...

I'Ve had the same issue on the 21xxx, 23xxx and GTX 23xxx on july 2nd and july 14th edition...

so heres a question ?

i installed energy july 14 23569 Cookie and immediatedly installed my carrier cab and acbToggleBT for streaming music to my bluetooth sunglasses ( i got the 15.00 fake Oakleys from Hong Kong via Ebay). Rebooted turned bluetooth on phone on, then turned my glasses on and paired. Now the amazing part for me i went to music tab and after it found music i hit play and it played through the glasses, i didnt have to hit my shortcut to acbToggleBT. Used it most of the day and then tonight it stopped working like that. Why?

Under System preferences in Power settings- advance tab. You can change the timeouts there.

As far as the light sensor, I'm not sure of a way to use that but I use PocketShield to control the behavior. It is a paid app but works pretty well.

does anyone know how to return to the default wallpaper in the Jul 14 GTX/ cookie, I changed it and then I didn't like it so now I want to go back to the default wallpaper for sense the one with the wing. Any Help would be greatly appreciated.

im using the maxsense rom the 31xxx version and everything is great but there are a couple things i noticed so far.

1. while in standby mode, for some reason, something running in the background brings my phone out of standby, but i counter this by using the lock on standby option, so no biggy.

2. phone shuts off the phone communications while using wifi. havent found a workaround for this yet.

3. as far as wallpapers is concerned, they dont stretch the entire screen. but when using walls that are 1200x640, it appears that they fill all three home screens, so again no biggie, even tho i woulda liked to see an option to stretch to screen for wallpapers.

4. battery life isnt the greatest but it isnt terrible either.

5. when flipping the kb into landscape mode you cannot access the home screen.

6. when adding program links to widget quicklink tabs the program selectin screen isnt displayed properly and you have to use the directional keys to select anything that is out of view on the bottom of the list.

just thought id share what ive found so far.
