on 28011 max+2.5 google location wasnt working in google maps... was it working for anyone else and is it working in 28014? thanks

So I downloaded EnergyROM_21885_HERMAN_16.Dec.2009_Standard_XMASTh eme
Jingle bells on startup, x-mas ringer, some frosting on the home screen, various x-mas icons, NRG ribbon replaced with x-mas lights ribbon, and other little various x-mas changes.
No 2.5 (as of yet) so I'm off to try Max. My screenshot software was giving me troubles or I would have posted some screenies (using MyMobiler, anyone use anything better?).

Help! Is anyone else with a Verizon TP having trouble with GPS on the latest ROMS? I've tried all of the 28011 versions and have had no joy. I can't even successfully download anything from QuickGPS. I try the GPS Chart Test and I get nothing, it just sits there "Opening GPS". I guess I'm going to have to go back to an older version, unless someone knows of a fix.

Working fine for me. Locked a location in GPS Weather radar in about 20sec and there's an apartment above me.

I loaded up the white clock and simple clock. Lost the background as expected. Now I can't find it to set it back. It's still visible in the quick menus. The cloud scene similar to the M$ Bliss desktop for XP.

Weather will use the location information from the towers for an approximate location (good enough for weather). Can you open Google maps, or one of the GPS applications and get a satellite lock?

That too, locked 6 sats inside on Google. Haven't touched any data/GPS settings since the flash. The radar app only uses GPS, AFAIK.
