I have the "texts coming from 2016" problem as well, running at first 23081 from October 25th, and then still after flashing to the 28011 (Standard 2.1) from December 24th. I see now that there is the 28014 from December 21st... is it better? I mean, it has a higher number, but it is less recent...

Also, with the new 28011 I am experiencing Opera launching whenever I turn on or soft reset my phone, to the url "file://localhost.at,", which gives an error. Any solution for this?

HAPPY NEW YEAR BRO!! seems its a worldwide issue,happening on custom and stock roms around the globe on all kinds of wm devices but i see few as yourself have not been affected theres threads thats been started about this everywhere lol

no hard reset or flash will cure your being stuck in the future woes!! you knew time travel was dangerous jk man

I've been having this problem as well...just trying to see if anyone had a solution?!? I am able to link my contacts w/their facebook account and their picture shows up in my contacts list. Hmmm.. I have an idea. Since the texts are coming from the future, I'm going to text my friend back and aske her the following questions:

1. Am I still married to the same woman?
2. Did I keep off the 50 lbs I lost last year?
3. Did I lose the rest of my hair?
4. Did I finally get into PA school?
5. Are you still my friend?

I'll let you know what I hear back from her. #4 is important. If #1 is no, then I hope #5 is yes, I'm your wife.

Funny thing is My text dates are correct but I'm getting duplicate texts at about 5 minute intervals. Not multiple texts...just one duplicate for each one received. Wonder if its a sprint network problem that they are working on?
