Did you leave Quick GPS alone/expired? If so download it and see if that helps, one ROM I was on My Location didnt work without it, another works with it expired. Which IMO is weird considering My Location is largely based on cell communication, hence the radio change.

Update your PRL if you haven't.

If it's still funky then IMO I'd start radio flashing.

Dammit, musical radios is gonna be annoying, but I'll try it. I already know 2 radios both produce same crappy results so I have many others to try. Gotta find that thread and begin downloading!

I redownloaded QuickGPS but see no difference.

I forgot where to see which PRL I have but I think I have one of the latest ones. Aren't PRL updates mostly for roaming though?

Hey guys just wanted to share a cab I fixed. I like the default task bar that our chef uses, how ever the Bilbobrian task bar that has been floating around is my all time favorite.

After Installing Arcsoft pic messaging, my battery status icon became fubard on the stock task bar set.

Installing the bilbobrian task bar in past builds would fix the issue of the screwy battery status how ever I found in newer builds 28008 etc. although battery status was remedied a new issue arose involving cellular service indicator always trying to connect or no signal bars what so ever. Check the attached images to see problem and remedy. I have taken the liberty to attach the newest functional cab of the task bar and the fix I cabbed up with info found at XDA.



Hope this helps any one who likes this task bar.

Nrg - the experimental dialer seems to be working awesome. I have been using it since you put it up. most 2.5 builds i have tried, the dialer is too large for the screen, leaving the keypad and end call soft keys barely visibile, let alone usable. not sure what causes this, but with this new dialer you are using, I ONLY HAVE THAT ISSUE 20% of the time, and it seems that it depends on where i dial from... (directly entered number, from phone book, or call history.) most of the time, it is sized correctly. I am trying to narrow it down for us. Anyone else notice this?
