I forgot where to see which PRL I have but I think I have one of the latest ones. Aren't PRL updates mostly for roaming though?
Yes, but it MAY help My Location issues as that is based on tower communication.

Still diggin the 28008 from 12/4, no issues at all... but I have to go back to 21877. I want to like the finger-friendly WM651, but I don't.

NRG, my paypal will be call your paypal!

Video calling is not supported in the US. When I first got my TP I saw a YouTube video about video calling...and thought it would be something like the GPS chip in my old mogul - that just needed to be modded to activate. ...I swore the light sensor was a camera...hahaha. Upon further research I learned that video calling in general is not supported by US carriers.

Wow...that's old. Why are you setting this reg edit? We've done a bit more research since that posting and found that the #777 edit is best.

+1...it's easy to do on the stock ROM and if anything goes wrong requiring Sprint Tech Support, you're already on Stock for troubleshooting.

Here's an old video that explains a bit on how this feature works. You can see how individual results can and will vary from user to user based on their location and carrier coverage. Google also considers "accurate" to be within 500-1000 meters from your actual location.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v6gqipmbcok

Traveling around the country, I can speak to this feature working wildly different for me in different locations.

Yah, I know . . . I'm pretty new to this and was trying to read through old threads on battery performance. Tried that reg edit before I read further and realized that #777 is the best. Have switch mine back to this, but couldn't remember what the cache setting should be. Sounds like 60 is ok. I think I'm finally caught up on posts now. Thanks for all the great info here, everyone! This gets addicting!

Cheers, MKM1126

Mernin'. ...I see you're converting everyone into Chefs now! Haha. Be on the lookout for my "Doomsday ROM" in 2010. Haha. I'll need beta testers!

Yea, there's a lot to keep up with. ...and it does get addicting. This is the first time I've had one ROM loaded up on my devcie for more than a week. I'm rocking Nov 27th 21877 2.5. I would build a house on this ROM release it's so solid. ...well, for me.

BTW - the links in my sig have a lot of the information from this thread summarized in an easier to follow thread. Just go to the correct one for your Manila version. While the builds might be different, there's still a lot of non-ROM specific info there along with links, cabs, and step-by-steps.

Re: |H|ROM|6.5.3|WWE| * EnergyROM 'Phoenix 2' (28008/21877) |Dec 4| Sense 2.1 and 2.

anyone else having the sms lagg.. i had it on the dec 4 as well as the new one EnergyROM_28011_HERMAN_07.Dec.2009_Standard.rar

It seems if i send a new text it laggs a couple of hours, but if i reply to a text it goes through.

But its random, sometimes it works just fine, another times it laggs.

any ideas?

Yup, same SMS lagging for me too, i'm using the WM SMS interface and it even hangs at the message list for about 30 seconds or more before I can use my phone again.

Btw, does anyone know if there is a place to track update/change logs for Microsofts builds? I would like to know whats new before I flash, to make sure it is worth the time and effort to reload my programs.

Also, is there any Sashimi working properly on 6.5 yet? I could never get it to install to SD Card.

Thanks.

That's a good question on the Microsoft builds. I'd like to have it laid out in front of me too. Sometimes the differences are so subtle or behind the scenes, I can't really tell any difference.

I don't use Sashimi so I don't know for sure, but I know that people have been using it on 6.5 for a while now. I'm sure someone else will chime in and validate that.
