I'm wondering how to include a phonepad input for easy t9 texting... i'm a little confused... i dont know what SIP is or how to change it. i installed finger keyboard 2.1... i want to keep things the way are... i just wanted to be able to add the phone keypad for easy one finger t9 texting... i'm posting this in energyrom b/c i'm currently using the 21877 dec 4 standard edition and i'm hoping someone who has experience/success can help me

I downloaded both files. After I installed the cab then I copied 7c60907d_Manila from PACK_12_QUICKLINKS_BG4ALL its in the .zip file to the "windows" folder and overwrote the existing file. This was needed to resize the Quicklinks to make room for the lock in the corner. If you haven't modified your Quicklinks then you may not need the second step.

For Sashimi:
I haven't tried this yet but don't forget to copy 7c60907d_Manila to Sashimi\Auto\Root\Windows, along with the cab file of course.

I installed this on 12/7 28011 and it doesnt seem to work. Anyone got it to work on 12/7 28011 2.5 standard? It did work on the 12/4 version.

The GPS is another story. Have you run through all the GPS tools cooked in? There is a bunch. I guess I'm just lucky-Energy ROM or not My Location and GPS always work great for me.

Obviously, the original Sprint ROM radio kept Google Maps working well. I upgraded to Telus 1.04 on my original ROM and Google Maps continued to work well. It wasn't until I flashed the 9/20 NRG that my Google Maps GPS and My Location features started pooping out. That version included a different radio, 1.03 I think. Since then, my GPS on Google Maps has been a disaster.

GPS Test 1.04 works but I have no idea if it's accurate or what it even means.
HTC GPS Tool makes no sense to me either. It seems to work but I dunno what these results mean.
QuickGPS has expired.
So all I have left is Google Maps which isn't accurate anymore.

What else should I do?

quick question, how can I get the scroll wheel zoom back on Opera 9.7? I'm using the Dec.4 21877 EnergyROM. I've searched on Google and this forum and can't find anything that works. Got some .cab, but it didn't work. Tried some registry research, and some of the dkeys were already there and at the right value... gonna look into that, is there a easier way to do it? I feel like this is so simple and I'm just having a moron moment

As I understand it a radio that works well with one ROM wont necessarily work the same with another. It may take some time but you may need to play Muscial Radios until you find one that works. But first....

Did you leave Quick GPS alone/expired? If so download it and see if that helps, one ROM I was on My Location didnt work without it, another works with it expired. Which IMO is weird considering My Location is largely based on cell communication, hence the radio change.

Update your PRL if you haven't.

If it's still funky then IMO I'd start radio flashing.

IDialer and IContact work like a charm. Follow the instructions and it is all set. I must admit I was aprehenssive of the configurator online that requires your GV pin. But if you'r worried, once it is set up, you can later go in and change the registry with Total Command or whateverit is you use. You just have to make sure whatever it is you change it to, you then also change it on your GV account. In any case before you go on and start changing things give it a go and see how it works.

Here is where you can change registry: HKCU\Software\Supware.net\iDialer\service2data\ "(Then)"
Box opens and you'll see: (area code)(your number)p(your GV pin #)p2p;#

Just go in and change your pin. Of course it has to match what you have on the GV system. I have attached the the zip with all you need and info on how to do it.

Note: iDialer "green button" will read "Sprint" or "Google Voice" to toggle between either use your thumb pad up or down.
If call is made when it reads GV it will dial through GV and of course if it reads Sprint it will dial through Sprint. I however choose to leave the iDialer on GV at all times, which in order to make a call you have to select from iContact to initiate call, unless you dial in manually. After 7pm and weekends I just use the program key click on phone and use directly from the stock dialer and contacts list.
