Correction it appears that if I try to send directly from the message tab it does not work. If I click all messages and send it works fine.

edit: correction again it everything is working fine got sms back from wife.

Can anyone confirm this? Not doubting you, just would like to verify. What version of sprint picture mail are you using as a workaround? It sounds like you have everything working on your end in the messaging department.

Thats not bad I suppose. If you go to all messages and menu to create new, does that work? Or can you ONLY reply to messages you have already?

Well I guess I will be watching this thread develop before I take the plunge.

There was a cab I used to use that would disable Manilla 2.1 SMS/MMS and even if you tapped on the msg within manilla, the WM Messenger would still appear. I tried looking for it for you guys on the Cab book, but I can't for the life of me find it...maybe someone else knows which cab it was and will post it.

On a side note the sms's I received back say:

Test - GSM

My sms only said "test" when I sent it.

It would appear as though the ROM has GSM settings.

I went to compose message and sent a message to myself and it went from EV to 1x ... oh I got it just slow... Installing the old messaging tweeks now to see it it works now

yeah thats been the case with all these builds as far as the GSM settings go...there is a cab where it will change the settings back to CDMA though. And, still no luck with my messaging =( I initially went into my message tab to send a msg, and it appears to look as though it has sent but didn't.
