I know the MMS/SMS issues are important to everyone, but it seems that lately that is the only thing being discussed. If anyone has a clue about how I can resolve my issue, I'd really appreciate it.

I've really only noticed similar issues with the 2.5 manila builds since those came off of devices with larger screens. You listed two 2.1 manila builds with the only difference being the WM versions. I havent seen any other posts of this nature. IMO alignment issues with manila 2.1 sounds odd, it's possible a flash to stock and back could be in order. DO you have any manila mods in place that could be causing an issue?
One thing I can suggest is to use the Dpad for the one or two items that are off screen. Not great I know, but if you know there is another button/icon/choice/etc just off screen, the Dpad should take you to it and then press the center button.
I use Total Commander frequently and dont notice any issues, maybe some more details and/or a screenshot would get some more input?

I also wanted to let you know that the latest versions of this do not work on the Verizon CDMA Touch Pro. It causes a hang at the boot screen. Release 21876 does work though. Please make this release available again to everyone as its the latest working release for the Verizon CDMA Touch Pro.

Im running Dec 2 28008 Standard and everything is pretty smooth. Switched back from the 2.5 cause of all the sms issues. 28008 standard has threaded sms in touchflo and winmo, and mms works (got reply less than 5 minutes after sending) after remove/reset/arcsoft. Had someone say they didnt get a text last night until this morning, but think it was BS as I called them as well and got no answer. GPS is fine, provided YouTube is good, no problem with S2U2, Havent tried TVOut as I have no use for it.

This happened to me at least twice with the 2.5s, with the 21XXX and the 28XXX. One or two would also hang on the NRG startup screen, and trying to hard reset would bring up the bootloader screen. No idea why.

I dont post too much, so thanks to BenS, DaveTN, and ThreeFaces for the help lately.

And extra thanks to NRG for the great ROMS.

Hi, been testing 28008 2.5 manilla dec 4 and have had no issues with sms...I've tried replying, new message and have been able to send/receive no problem...awesome work to nrg as per the usual!!

You can tape them both together, flash a 21xxx build on one and a 28xxx build on the other and have the best of both worlds.

Anyone have any idea how to access the 6.5 lockscreen I've seen around with the slide sms. email, etc? Is this a feature that has to be cooked in or can I get a cab somewhere to make it available?

either hit the lock button at the bottom of the start menu (soft key) or get S2U2, which is here. http://www.ac-s2.com/
