this happens in 21869 also. it is not the rom it is the manila port.

The 8-11 23016 ROM is one of my all time favourites. I never had to worry about anything with that one. Speed, stability, battery life, aesthetics were all there on that one. The only thing I didn't like about it was the ringer from the HTC dialer and how it would not ring or freeze when you tried to answer a call. I disabled the HTC dialer and just used the Winmo dialer and everything worked great. I do like the newer builds but I imagine if he included the currently dialer from the 28002 ROM I would rock it out for a bit but I'm really into using the builds with the bottom taskbar and fringer friendly menus. I have full confidence in NRGZ that he'll be able to get one of these newer builds to behave accordingly. Think about how far the 2.5 ROMS have come already. They're practically everyday ROM's if you can deal with a "Sleeping Beauty" from time to time this 28002 kicks @$$ and it's still so raw

What do you think of the 23504?
Is that 23016 would be better?

Yeah I guess that is what I meant by the "sense" side but made it more confusing by inquiring if it showed up in both builds when it clearly only happens in 2.5, which is the same on both builds, not in the Titanium or MS side. Regardless apparently I'm not the only one to have seen this after all.

I liked the 23081 build better than 23504 but apparently mine is the only one that worked without the freezing issue plus the last time I ran it I got like 14hrs battery life.

23016 is top taskbar and 23081 in this case is bottoms so I would go 23081.

Energy is the Ringtone issue corrected in this newest rom??!? sorry dont have time to go through it all but it was one of the main reasons i had to leave your roms any input from anyone would be great!

Has anyone else noticed GSM settings under the phone options? Whats up with that, are there specific builds for CDMA and GSM? Because, correct me if I am wrong, but WCDMA is NOT "3G CDMA" like Verizon and Alltel.

would this have anything to do with the non-functional messaging, or the BSOD's? I have just found it rather peculiar that we'd have settings specifically for GSM...

It is a cosmetic thing, not a functional issue. If it were functional you prob wouldnt be able to make calls.
Basically the wrong .dlls were cooked in, change them and the proper menu will come up. Gimme a sec and I'll edit this post with the stuff you need.
