Read my quote from earlier regarding my experiance. I have done it twice now. i am wondering if it is something with the GSM settings.....

21864 is a stable classic style build. Start button is in top taskbar. 23088 Newest beta-ish build based on new MS builds 6.5.1. Start button is on larger bottom bar which is more finger friendly. I like em both realy. 23088 currently. Only bugs I deal with are manila 2.5 related and I can live with em. Just a matter of what you like. Both are NRG so they are the chit no matter how you slice it.

EDIT: I took too long! Thanks everyone else who beat me!

Yeah, it was posted a couple days ago for the cdma fix. http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/attachment...0&d=1257358155. that's the zip of the files you need to upload, and the instructions are......... I think search under threeface. He had a well written one that i followed. Hope that helps.

To be honest not really sure, I don't get enough calls to say for certain. Also doesn't help that after an afternoon of running fine I went install and settings play crazy.

I can always revert back to Wm dialer if necessary.
I had the random ringer problem on the previous build. So far this build has held up for me. I use a trimmed mp3 for my ringer. Hopefully this will get solved. It seems to be a strange combination of things making it happen sometimes. I'm with you, I can go with the WM dialer if needed,

there really ins't a concrete fix for the ringer problem besides WM dialer. I guess its' a price to pay???????? . I'll play with it for a bit more, and see if I can figure something out.

I've gotten to the point where I'm documenting changes. The ringer issue is not NRG's fault. It's just the technician in me. Are you in OP?

NOt sure if this makes a difference for the ringer problem but I keep my custom ringers on my storage card. I use file explorer to navigate to them and click/hold on them and choose "set as ringtone". So far all have worked foo me in the last severa builds. However, I'm also using a standalone dialer (PhonEx) rather than Tachi or WM dialer.

slowed down? You've cranked out more ROMs since 10/22 than most of the chefs on these threads combined? IMO, these 2.5 betas are more stable than some of the work out there (after some tweaks) and is probably the only reason why i hang on to my TP. Thank you for your dedication!!

+ Text input

23088 does seem alot better then 23081 and alittle better then 23504. still to early to tell on battery but my little freezes seem to be all gone....thank you for another super fast and stable rom. the htc message system feels ALOT faster and much easier to use. whatever you did should reward you a job at HTC or MS lol. =D>
