Can someone grab

and post it. For some reason my build is missing this icon and I figure it would be easier for someone to grab theirs than to install a different ROM version just for one file.

MS bugs are less. Both are very similar in appearance. It was just a bunch of little issues that makes 23088 better. 23504 ate more battery, which was one reason NRG ended up yankin it. Time will tell if 23088 is any better. I likeit so far. Typical NRG, UNBEATABLE even at a alleged beta level!!!

all my text msgs get a suffix, msgs I sent got a "-CDMA", and I received got a "-GSM".
how do I fix that?
I'm on the 23088 build (Nov 14th)

Good Luck. This is surely related to the GSM settings as well......hmmmm

Ok. I knew it was coming but it's taken over a year. I got the official "I can't believe you spend so many hours working on your phone" from the wife tonight. Coming from an 11 year ex sprint employee I guess that means I should stick with stock. It worked so well and looked so nice! Ya right - time for another NRG flash.

this is a "feature" of 2.5...don't worry, you are not actually sending the CDMA out with your txts.

i don't think this is an issue....if you're outgoing txts said GSM, then there'd be a problem...

In the end, I just think its ignorant, (and you aren't the only one doing it, I just happened to grab YOUR post.) To beg and beg for this 2.5 on a piece of junk phone that has been Soooooooooo Replaced, and then piss and moan cuz it don't work, or complain cuz the cook can't make it work right for you. It's not the cook not being smart enough, Its your pockets aren't deep enough to keep up with technology and want your old outdated phone to work like the newer models.

Thats like puttin a hemi, in a Ford Escort wagon, cuz you think its cool. Nope, Its just a waste of time.


PS: You did have one good point. How come we can give people a +1, But we can't give people a -1?

The problem is "positionfix.exe" that runs at startup and fixes manila's position on the screen. If you kill that, the bars WILL dissapear, but your manila will be cutoff at the bottom. hehe

It's a problem with amarulzz's exe. He'll have to fix it ... one day.. hopefully.

I used to get that all the time, which is the reason I slowed down on the constant ROM cooking and now I only do it late night or while at work, as time permits. This way I keep the wife AND you guys happy... better than no ROMs at all, IMO. hehe
