Re: |H|ROM|6.5.1|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23081/21864) |Nov5| Manila 2.1 and 2.5

The guys over @ XDA are nothing short of amazing. The work they do with the ports and customizations makes one's head spin. Can't wait to see this 2.1 cooked into a build of Energy.. I mean, NRG did amazing work with 2.5 in 21864, so if we can get the reliability of 2.1 and one of the latest COM4/COM5 builds.. Yeeeeeaaaaaaaahhhhhhh, buddy!

Thanks again for the feedback.
Edit-just re-read your post, we are both doing a SR after turning Sense off so that may be the key.
yeah, I think the SR is the key in all of this. I also noticed that the ringtones get messed up once you make any kind of changes to tf3d. IE, the max cab or any other major mods. Just watch out for it, but since I last did the ringtone fix dances hahahahaah, that's what I'll call it from now on, it has worked up till now..... hope i don't jinx myself.

Try the 2.2 version, no background issue here.

Winmo, Root, Three...anyone, I know some had issues with my location failing a while back. I didn't experience it then but I am now. Any words of advice?

I've had it bug out in different locations...I think it has a lot to do with your signal strength and locale. ...at least that's what Ive picked up travelling around.

I've also found that knocking all of the custom cities out helps.

Hows your other GPS?

Doesn't look like this has been discussed, but I just put the Nov. 5 build on my phone, and when I go into a text message, if I'm in portrait mode and flip out the keyboard, it chops off a good portion of the right side of the screen, including the two soft buttons (send and whatever that other one is.)

It doesn't seem to happen if I go into a reply with the phone already in landscape mode.

..yea, just flip back to portrait after you type to get to the send key. There's limited landscape support for our vga devices at the moment with manila 2.5.
