Search for this TWKSetup.exe and install it. If you can get active sync to connect and connect this then it may fix you up. It will let you set softkeys and soft reset device via the program. If it will connect it may be the fix without hard resetting. Give it a shot. I have not fulling tested it but I have loaded it and connected. It has some grayed out options that are only for older wm but the others should work. May have been wrong about the app.
It may not reset the softkeys. Try it and see I guess. |

Any Hard Reset wipes the device back to default rom settings.

Try this-turn phone OFF. Vol down and center button then power button also until screen comes up. Instructions shoud say hit vol up for hard reset. Worked for me.

If you are not sure, just dial *99 and you will get the "you are now within airave coverage" message. The signal strength indicator is not a reliable means of determining if you are connected to your airave.
I have an airave as well and thought I was losing my connection but it was pointed out to me that the signal strength is not an indocator of connection to the airave. David Sorry...I'm under the influence of cold medicine.... |
