when downloading EnergyROM_23081_HERMAN_25.Oct.2009_Standard.rar
i get an avast virus warning. after the file is downloaded winrar gets 2 errors when extracting:

Avast went nuts on a build awhile ago, it was traced to faulty reporting by a user about the RUU i believe. Try scanning with another virus scanner, I seriously doubt you'll find anything. To be safe, just scan the .nbh then flash from SD if everything checks out.

I assume you downloaded from the hotfile link on the first page?

I got a warning on Spybot abt the latest EnergyROM for .Sober infection as well that I killed

ok, i assumed it was a false positive but just making sure.

ya, i used the link on the first page. i guess i'll just have to turn off avast while downloading.

Got mine from the same NRG link and I also checked with Avast.
Maybe there is something else on your system that could be infecting the file as it DLs.
But I can confirm there is no virus and my Avast checks clean as do other scanners I ran.

Yeah Man, dont PLEASE dont take my word for it. I cant know what is going on on your system. I only wanted to let you know that it COULD be a false positive.

Well 2 days ago my GPS died again while running 1014. I tried different ROMs and nothing: GPS will make the phone reboot as soon as a lock is acquired. None of the current ROMs could fix this issue. Good thing I kept a system backup of 0920. Flashed back and restored backup. GPS seems to work but does not lock... maybe I have a defective chip. I'm not willing to try 1025 yet, way too many horror stories with the messaging freezing and the task manager not being available (like before). I guess I'll wait on 0920 until something better pops up.

9/20 was on of the best roms to date.
Stable, fast and solid.
I had zero problems with it.

hi guys is there anyway to get the regular volume control for the oct 25 build really dont like the 23081 one
