Just flashed and hard resetted to 10-14 and have encountered no problems to speak of . GPS (tomtom) works great , no dropped signals here at all.

Now I just need to grab the radio he recommends on the xda thread to go along with this rom.

Careful Bro, most likely that's a GSM radio to go with his GSM ROM. I could be wrong but dont think I am. Installing a GSM radio on your CDMA phone will at best not work and at worst give you mucho headaches. Nrgz doesnt usually make CDMA radio suggestions. Lemme know if Im mistaken.

Gps

ok, back to 1013 and it's still dead. Everything else seems ok. One last time back to the 6.1 stock where GPS got unlocked.

Re: |HERM|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Photon' (23016) ** | Built Oct 13th | Manila 2.

Hello. I am a newbie to flashing the ROM on my phone. I tried this Energy ROM as my first attempt and it seems great.

The only problem I have is my usage % seems to be very high. I am a VZW user and saw this under the tweaks:
VZW USERS: as for vzw guys as per usual, remove the phone dialer skin, lower the pagepool to 8 mb, and at boot for the standard rom you shouldn't leave above 79% (Thanks Noir)

The only problem is, I don't really know what this means. Can someone please either explain how, or point me to a place where I can learn how to do these three things?

Thanks!

Hey Dudes...Look over here!!! Let me see if I can remember everything.

I haven't flashed the new build yet - will tonight....here's some stuff to try to fix your issues.

Phone reboots or locks up when you lock on to a GPS signal
- reflash your radio, or try a new radio and let me know if that helps. YOu don't need to go back to stock, there's likely an issue with the radio software. I ran into this before...you can stock flash ALL you want, but it won't clear up.

Don't follow the recoommendation for a radio to pair with this ROM over at XDA because it doesn't apply to our CDMA phones. I'm told this is important to remember.

Picture Mail
I already posted that it does NOT work "out of the box". Picture mail should be perfectly integrated into the device - both TouchFlo and WinMo views. Meaning, you should see an attachment icon in both TouchFlo [on the Text Tab] and if you select "All messages". If you click that icon, it shoudl display the picture. It should also be in threaded view for a particular contact.

The ONLY aspect of the latest Arcsoft that doesn't play nice is if you try to attach a pic/vid/etc to a threaded reply in WinMo. Those options are grayed out. Everything else should function perfectly...and those option may even work proper on an older build of Arcosft.

If you're coming off a fresh flash, I asked if someone could go into the task manager and kill any picturemail process running, before installing Arcsoft.

If you already installed it, go into the task manager, stop the picturemail process [kill it], then run the arcsoft removal cab, then soft reset, then install Arcsoft, and soft reset.

Let me know if that doesn't improve your Arcosft experience. I know it's reported to work out of the box, but everyone seems to be having the same experience I did and the posted method is how I was able to get it working perfectly.

% Battery Meter - change your icon set, no?

www.google.com? sorry, I couldn't resist. I'm a psrint user, but there is a LOT of information about the issues Verizon TPs have running certain custom ROMS...mostly you guys don't have alot of spare RAM to play with. Seek and you shall find.

That's your SPL...from the bootloader screen. It tells you that your device is unlocked [ignore the top part of that screen that says "security unlocked" it's meaningless]. If that line didn't say CMONEX, that'd be your problem.

The GPS issues are more likely radio related than ROM. Try reflashing your radio, or changing radios to see if it helps your GPS issues.
