Yeah, there is a fix for that I posted a while back on the thread. Search for me - there aren't many posts (maybe 2?).

It seems that NRG didn't update the "Titanium" Version of the ROM - it doesn't even have the HTC dialer, just the WinMo dialer. Which causes the in-call volume not to work.

Picture Mail - I posted how ot get it working - the steps in my Guide are still good. I know what the change log says...ignore it, install the removal cab, soft reset, install arcsoft, soft reset...works perfectly [directions and cabs are in my Guide or Thread in my sig]. GPS - no issue...in fact, I think it's quicker. RADIOS - there's a radio thread here at PPCGEEKS with everything you need to change radios: http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=74422 PRL Update - I wouldn't mess with this unless you need to, but the cabs and instructions for updating are also in my Guide. The only bug fix that isn't in my Guide yet was posted by Blockhead yesterday, regarding the TXT and EMAIL buttons on the physical keyboard. YOu need to download the program he posted - it will show up in your system folder I think once installed...search for it. Then you can use that to map those buttons. I'll work on a step by step...or a fix...eventually. BATTERY STUFF - yea, I mean, the ROM is not known for strong battery life...we all know. There are some tweeks listed in my Guide along with recommendations for how to improve battery life...but its dependant on the individual user and their location [in terms of what features ar emost often used and how solid their signal is...roaming constantly vs always having agood signal]. Oh, and you should still use the #777 "suspendresume" reg edit for the dialer, which I think is baked in. Check it. ...and I can confirm, Tachi Dialer issues persist. I don't ever use IN Call Recorder, but I tested it and it doesn't seem to work. I don't know if it ever did...so maybe someone else can help, or offer a recommendation for another program to use to do it. OK...hope some of that helps. More stuff that works: Panoramic Wallpaper. Compact Homescreen [Im using "v2b"] MyLocation Weather Last edited by ThreeFaces; 10-15-2009 at 12:21 PM. |

This is my second stab at the energyRom. First was the sept 20 rels. Obviously a newb. Call me an idiot newb but .. search on 'disable slide2answer', 'disable answer slider', 'disable answer slider' etc and cannot for the life of me see how to get rid of that really annoying slider when a call comes in. From what i can ascertain, this belongs to something called a tachi dialer and if I want to disable it, I would then not dial from my contacts tab? I am not even sure how to disable the dialer though.. went Start > Tools > Tweaks > advanced config "turn off what seems logical" no diff.
Start > tools > TouchProTweak " turn off what seems reasonable. no diff. Oh and FYI - at least for me the MMS is not working I am using the Oct 10 release. At some point it would be nice to archive some of these threads, the bad information returned at this point due to super old builds gets difficult to weed. Really nice efforts out there though on dev front. |

Anyone claiming to have GPS problems should be sure to turn on AGPS, it's off by default. Go into Settings -> System -> AGPS Settings and click the "Enable AGPS" check box. This will help you get faster startup times when you're not in clear sky conditions. And the device's stand alone GPS capabilities still kick in when you can't get a phone signal. I've tested the 10/14 build in Airplane Mode, to confirm the stand alone GPS still works when AGPS is on and I've tested indoors with the phone on to ensure AGPS works. Soft resetting between all tests, to ensure I was booting the GPS radio cold.

Anyone else seeing a graphics error in landscape headers?
Is this a general manilla issue? Looks like it could be some corruption. I did the flash dance and everything. |

I'm still on 10/13, but before I go to 10/14, I have a question. Are the in-calls softer since the 9/20 update? I saw something in the change log about volume and I've noticed everything is softer, including speakerphone. Is there a cab/reg edit to fix this?
