Step 1: Go to People Tab and begin to add all of your favorites

I've tried NUMEROUS other methods to no avail... so if you happen to be going through this similar issue, consider this my contribution to you =)

Ive had this issue before. The only way to set pictures and have them look crystal clear is to set them from your photo album. You cant go into the change picture option in edit contact otherwise some will become blurry and look low budget. In order to set the picture with a clear look is you have to go into your photo album.....find the picture you want....and then touch it and then you should get options on if you want to set it to a contact...select that and set it to what ever contact you want and that should do the trick. I personally don't know if there is a short cut in doing what I am about to tell you but hey if it gets the job done it gets done right? I usually go onto my computer to my friends facebook or myspace and browse their pics and save which ones I want as my contacts onto my memory card where all of my pics are. Then I go onto my phone into my photo album and find the picture and set it from there. Ive tested setting it through the edit contact and through the photo album and this was the issue. Setting it through edit contact made some of the pics blurry but when I set the exact same picture from my photo album the photo was "clear as mud" as my English teacher would say. Hope that helps!

Also someone said before about backing up contacts. I usually back up my contacts through my sd card. This way all of my pictures AND ringtones that I have set to the contacts gets saved. No need to set them again. Then when I reflash, flash, reflash, flash, all I have to do is go into my sd. Copy the PIM I just pasted onto my device. Soft reset your device and all of your contacts, pictures to your contacts and ringtones to your contacts are there without having to dig on microsoft my phone or what not to find them. Aslo with the PIM method your favorite peoples will still be there automatically just as they were before when you PIM backed them up. The only downfall to this method is you would have to copy and paste the PIM from my device to your sd card and overwrite the old one EVERY TIME you add a new contact otherwise the previous PIM is going to only have those contacts you had before and no new ones you've added unless you overwrite the old one on your sd card, but who really adds a contact everyday?? Hope that helps.

Go to Settings on manila -> Sound -> Advanced -> Notifications (to the right next to Sounds) -> Connection Established -> Uncheck vibrate

This rom is awesome, i bought my touch pro last month and flashed nrgz roms immediately and nothing else. Plan to keep it that way.

Two questions though:
1. How do i change just my battery icon to the one that the pimp package has (the circle with the number in it)?

2. I hate the new touchflo tab icons and would prefer the older icons or some new ones. I know there's manila editor but maybe someone can post a cab that would change them if possible?

2. The new touchflo icons tabs is really on your preference. You can interchange them yourself, but if you want a cab with new icons....then your stuck with someone else's icons once again. Here is a link to many icons to chose and pick and match what you like

The sizes for your icons should be 128x128 for bigger icons and 48x48 for smaller icons. I personally go with the bigger ones. Also here is a list of what manila files you need to change them.

I have never downloaded a ROM before on my TP. and Love what has been said about this one. Can someone please give me a hand doing this. Maybe a walk through or if I need to know anything ahead of time. I greatly appreciate it!

I have looked everywhere and tried different methods including the one you mentioned above. But my phone still doesn't vibrate when connection is established. Is there another way to approach this? I tried to look under the phone functions where that option used to be, but I can't find it there anymore.

Ok I got some time fellaz so here we go again
first you need to unlock your phone using this

Raphael_CDMA_HSPL_037.zip

In order to do that you must have an active sync connection. Usb from your phone to your computer make sure that the green icon says connected and also says connected from your phone. Run the Ruu included in the zip file I attached. Now wait for the status bar to reach 100 and when it says finished or complete. It will restart by itself and then you are ready to flash one of the best roms you will ever find. NOTE: you are free to flash to whatever rom you want now BUT you will be back!!
Next go to the first forum page and download the rom rar file and once it is complete you need something like winrar or 7zip to extract the file into a folder. Open the folder which will include the RUU for this rom. Run it. It will look exactly like the one for unlocking. You will also follow the exact same steps with flashing as you did unlocking. Green icon connected on your computer and connected on your phone. Flash and wait for it to complete. Your all set my friend. Welcome to the world of flashing!! Where we get NO SLEEP JUST FLASHING

This is the best ROM I've tried. So smooth, responsive, and fully loaded. Makes me like my phone again.

I've tried searching in this thread but no luck on finding a concrete answer. I have the 9/20 ROM, and I'm having the default alarm issue. Where the select audio file is being interrupted by the system notification. It plays one note of the selected audio file/alert, then switches over to the intermittent system notification sound. Any ideas? or a link to the fix?

Thank you very much with your help! I'll be giving it a shot within the hour! Hopefully I wont have any more questions or concerns. I know I'm a Newb when it comes to this stuff!
