I have the same problem with using GPS on road trips. I have a car charger, but even though it is plugged into the car charger the phone still goes dead if I use the GPS for any length of time. I have a vent phone holder and the AC is blowing right on it. It is cool to the touch, but it still goes dead after about 2 or 3 hours. I have a handfree bluetooth device in my car so usually I'm plugged into Bluetooth as well. I guess it draws more power than the car charger can send it?

The thing to check next time is whether or not the charger stops charging the device. ...which will happen if the battery gets too hot. If it's just a matter of your draw being greater than the charger's ability to charge, then you might set your backlight to a lower level when using your GPS program...like if you have Lumos, its super easy to set a custom backlight level for a specific program. That should reduce your power draw and may balance things out.

You're in Bad Flash City, dude. I ran across that problem once before on an older build...seemed like manila and winmo texting weren't syncing proper. Hard reset...no need to go back to stock, you just caught a bad flash.

When you hard reset - sync your data, then test out phone, data, and texting before you customize.

My 9/20 version has been flawless.. I just noticed one issue that I have been trying to fix myself but cant and I have been reading this forum from post 1.. When I turn my camera on it works in portrait mode.. As soon as I rotate it will go blank.. I thought it was my ChangeScreen app but I have added it and removed it in the app and still no change.. Anyone else seeing this or know of a fix?



Edit... Nevermind.. Go to settings and then turned Gsenor off fixed my issue..

About 33% more bower from this battery will come close to doubling the up time.

gotcha... my battery always drains, as expected i guess, with calls... been on the phone about 1.5 hours this morning and battery to 50% ... if im not on it much im usually at 75-80% at the end of the day.

a few hours talk time with that much left is pretty nice

OK, this is a long shot but go into S2U2 and turn ON BOTH haptic and vibrate on connect then SAVE. Exit out, if it doesnt do it for you. Go back in, turn them both OFF and then SAVE.
If that doesn't do it then I'd go with the Stock flash because from my end you're having conditions that I dont see in 920, but maybe it's ME who is the odd man out. Maybe someone else can confirm if those features are working in the latest build?

Edit:Found this-Start>System FOLDER>Phone Wizard>Scroll down there IS a Vibrate when call is connected but mine is on and my phone doesn't vibrate.

The first 9/20 build had haptic vibration turned on by default. NRG uploaded a second version where it was turned off.

Edit: If you flash a new radio and the Device Info does NOT change then you probably didn't get a good flash even if it told you it was successful. Try again.

Ok thanks, I think im upto date PRL: 60652 PRI: 2.34_003. . . im try'n the new rom and radio now, so far so good on the sprint 1.12, im using it to tether now cuase my superfast adsl account is past due so im stuck with evdo for now but it gets the job done. . . thanks
