Call history on home screen would be nice, but...
The present home screen has date and alarm on top WITH the animated clock working so this is good setup and for phone history you can click on clock.
I used that posted "original home" cab to get back the clock animation in older roms.

I am really liking this rom, Thnx NRGZ28 !

this rom bricked my phone can anyone help?

i was running the 8-11 build im not new to flashing phones but i was in a rush and tried to flash the 9-06 rom right over the 8-11 without reverting back to stock rom and clearing the phone

issues: once i flashed this new rom my phone ran ok but then everytime it reset is completly wiped the phone aka soft reset would perform hard resets. id did that a few times but now when i start my phone it gets too "Please wait while your device is being setup. This should take no longer than a couple minutes. Now i let it sit at this screen the past 6 hours in vein. I have now pulled the battery several times just hoping to get a usb connection going i have tried hard reset and nothing happens (maybe im doing this wrong?) i hold volume down and enter while using the soft reset button on the bottom of the phone to hard reset but it boots normally even tried power button + enter button still nothing.

any one have any ideas how to unbrick this phone?


ok unbricked it and reinstalled stock then reinstalled this should be all set now willl keep updated

i just flashed back to psykirom and i started getting all these errors during customization, i've never seen before, i think nrgz autokill.exe implanted something into my phone in case i decided to try another rom

take battery out. flash to stock. shut down. flash to new energy rom. fixes problems.

Sounds like your slider is on its way out... Are you having problems with the buttons too?

I was having the same problems and blamed the rom. After I flashed back to stock and was having the same problems, I had to come to terms that it was the hardware. I went to Sprint and they gave me a new phone.

That is correct , sir! Some things to note here...NRG cooked in a version of the compact home screen. This will give you some headaches if you start playing around with wallpapers and such. To get "background on all tabs" to work, I needed to install the original home screen, then set my wallpaper, then run background for all, then run a new compact homescreen that was compatible with background for all tabs.

With pano backgrounds, everything installed well, but yea, my clock isn't clickable. I don't really need to get into the Clock though, so it's not really a big issue for me.

downloaded the mirrored link and the HotFile and BOTH (according to AVG) had Trojan viruses in them . .

anybody have a clue, alternate link, anything?

I wondering if a few things could be added, since there nicely usable-
1- Weather City Editor (Would help not having to install it each ROM flash. Since alot of people have to edit zip codes in anyway.)
2- Disable Envelop patch (Great patch, no longer have to open msg just to read it.)
3- Network folder plugin (ALWAYS usefull to WiFi connections using shared drive's)
4- Touch Response (Small app, but much more enjoyable when using.)
5- Newer Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79. (Included system is barebones, comparing to this one that allows you to also add voice clips,picture's,text,etc, and all nicely layed out.)



Again, just some suggestions if you didn't mind them. Some of them should definitely be add as stock though, let alone be used with the best ROM out there. ENERGYROM!!!

I think all if not most of this has been addressed, but just in case:

STYLUS: The stylus out has never worked on any NRG release, to my knowledge, and it isn't something he's seemed too pressed to fix.

TWITTER WIDGET: ...there are, or maybe, two twitter widgets if you look in "All Programs"...select the other one and it will work. I have two...one goes to a blank white screen, the other goes to his twitter page.

WEATHER CITY EDITOR: Just change your manila file ONCE to add your city, save it to your storage card, and then you'll only need to replace the manila file after a flash. Check teh Guide in my sig for instructions on how to do this. ...and if you use SASHIMI, you'll never have to touch this setting again.

ARCSOFT - I don't know the logic behind it, but I have always used the uninstall Arcsoft cab followed by a soft reset and then an installation of the latest Arcsoft picture messaging app. I don't think picture mail works well through TouchFlo otherwise. Again, I don't know the logic, but I imagine there's a reason it hasn't been cooked in. Again, it takes five minutes to fix.
