I flashed the rom and everything. The phone works. I can connect to the data line. But my problem is when I try to use apps that require internet they still do not work with the data line. Anyone else have problems with this?

Asked Rotastrain about his new G-spot mod and he said it will work on the Touch Pro but it has to be cooked into the rom.
Have added the link here for you to look at and see if you think it is worth your time or if you think it would be liked by your users.
Looks pretty sweet.

I've noticed my google maps cannot lock in. Also quickgps says cannot SL data, try again. Oh and yes I do have an internet connection.

Is it giving a data error?
What rom was on your device before NRG?
I suggest a stock flash then NRG.

Had that happen once and that fixed it.

You may also try to just update your PRL and Profile.
That may work too.

Sounds like the data profile has lost some important settings.

not really had that problem, tho there is a few apps (I think beejive was one) where say, after a soft reset and nothing has used data yet, it wouldnt fire up. so i synced my mail to fire up a data connection and then they would fire no prob..but like i said it was pretty rare and only when data hadnt been fired up yet..

I had my phone replaced 4 days ago. The internet was working fine on the stock rom. Today I installed hard spl then this rom and all normal functions seem to work except now my apps dont work with the data connection.
