Since phoenix, aroura, and now warhawk, no more mms in, only out. After flashing warhawk, with nothing else installed (no uc settings saved) first thing I checked was mms options and it wasn't there. I can understand for a generic rom, that one would want sprint things removed for use on att, tulis, verison. I just think there is something else that was removed along with it.

Edit before posting. reinstalled warhawk. in text menu, between delete all and foward is nothing. after installing cricket cab, mms options is there. arcsoft is in reg before cab install. internet works great after install of cab. but not it wont even send. keeps jumping to 1x and staying there.

I'm truley sorry that this no longer a cricket rom. This rom was a kill to all roms and without it there shouldn't even be phones, but I can no longer use it. Time to try others. Good luck to all, ending subscriton to thread.

Well im sorry to say that it appears that even you don't understand the process in order to set up mms, you just know the steps that "worked" in previous roms. the way to get it working might have changed, but believe me you can get it working. It sounds like you have a step by step someone wrote for you on a dif rom or version and now something changed.

Im not sure what you are talking about with cabs and such, about how one wont uninstall or the area to put certain settings aren't there. but making a completely new cab that sets all the stuff all at once isn't a problem. But it is a problem if you dont know what the address for the proxy server is or port, or mms server and port for cricket.

About cabs that install but wont go away without a new flash, that is incorrect. A simple hard reset or clear storage will completely undo it, not to mention that the "uninstall" option for a cab is just a settings flag and can easily be changed to allow installation.

Does anyone have problems with the text size getting really big all of the sudden in the threaded view text message and in an email? Everything else that is affected by that setting is normal but those two get huge for some reason but the setting itself doesn't change in the menu. It's terribly annoying.

its most likely because you are hitting the trim around the center button, that zooms in and out on the text if you roll your finger on the edge in a cirlce like an ipod.

Thanks, J.eremy! No problems at all with the phone hard-resetting itself since following your instructions - reflashing the stock ROM, hard resetting, flashing the current NRG ROM, and hard resetting. Works great!

Hey all you NRG fans here is a little gift that will help you out. I have attached a couple of cabs one is for weather for all cities for 2.1 and the other is for background for all tabs I take no credit for this all I did was use a little button call search. Hey Rezn if you can post this in post 4. NRG thanks for all the hard work this is my little contribution. ok guys I take the background for all tabs back cause it dont work sorry

For all the Alltel people...I've been flashing and reflashing NRG's different versions for 7 hours trying to figure out the MMS trying to get it to work because I knew I've had it working before. I always install "Arcsoft Alltel MMS 5.0.69.44.cab", "sms160.cab", and "dcdalltelcarrier20090704.cab" through UC. I've tried different versions of Arcsoft on all versions with no success. On all of the NRG roms the screen lights up, switches to 1x for a second and usually opens a data connection when a pic message is sent to my phone when only installing the three cabs I listed. However, only the July 27th version actually receives the message. The July 27th has been receiving MMS flawlessly for me.

It does have some annoyances though. First off, all the keys vibrate so you have to install "Psyki vibration settings.cab". The dcd carrier cab always shows 100% battery so I install a the Custom Taskbar & battery icons cab. Both of these files can be found in this thread.

I'd rather not be running the old version because I know NRG doesn't support it anymore, but if you want to receive MMS on Alltel this is the newest version I can run. I have compared the Arcsoft Registry between versions and there are very few differences after a fresh install, but it seems a few entries might be created when the first message is received??? Anyway, I've tried to restore the July 27th Arcsoft registry on top of the other versions with no luck either.

Sorry for writing a book about this...Guess I could have just said Alltel users wanting MMS can try the July 27th version.

Hi this is a great ROM but it seems it always minimizes any program window when I pull the keyboard out or go back into portrait mode. This is really annoying when I recieve texts because i always use the hard keyboard when texting is anyone else having this problem and is there a fix? Im on the latest built "Warhawk".

Dont apologize man, thanks for the info! Its been driving me nuts for the past 2 days!!
I was beginning to think I was the only one having these issues!! I have also tried every possible Arcsoft cab and tried importing the registry settings from a different 6.5 ROM. All with no luck.
Hopefully NRG will get it sorted out soon. But I dont wanna downgrade, Im having very good luck with this ROM so far, so I guess for now Ill settle for anly being able to send but not recieve
