Your keyboard may be dying. The same thing happened to me and I had my phone replaced by Sprint. You can try fixing it on your own, there's a thread mentioning how to open the phone and see if any of the keyboard wires have come loose and how to fix them. It worked for me on-and-off while I waited on the replacement.

This is the best ROM I have tried so far... only one minor issue and maybe someone can help. I really like the option where the phone vibrates when a call is connected, but I can't seem to get it to work on this ROM. On the advanced tab on the phone settings, I have "Vibrate device when call is connected" checked, but that doesn't seem to do the trick. Also, I checked RegEdit, and it seems like there is already an entry for this. Not sure why it's not working. Any info/suggestions would be greatly appreciated!!!
Thanks, Chris |

I will make you a deal...I will try harder to not 'get so defensive' if you will try harder to not give up so easily. You say you 'wish you could have stayed with it' and 'if it wasn't for [those issues] I'd still be using this ROM' -- well, how hard did you try to deal with those issues? One issue you mention is MSVC, which is posted about all over this thread, and can hardly be considered an 'issue' at all. Your Activesync problem, on the other hand, sounds important enough to try to get help solving -- by asking here, for instance. If you 'really liked the ROM' as you say, I am just left wondering why it wasn't worth doing more to try to resolve your issues on it?

Umm if I want to add a new program shorcut to the programs tab on TF3D2, there is a program called Disable Data... but there is no Enable Data program, so how exactly will this disable my data connection? Permanent? Need a soft reset to use it again?... I dont want to disable the data completely (as in no more data whatsoever), just when I'm at work and sleeping...
Nvm...I had to try it myself, its actually a small app that opens and asks you which data connection you wish to disable/enable... I guess it is safe.

Thanks for the response... I like the Tachi dialer so much, I may just learn to live without the connect vibration. |
