Is there anyway the next version could have that new manila tv from xda cooked into it? It looks pretty sweet. I'd like to try it but I'm afraid of messing up my bg4all or other settings by adding in a new tab.

i love this ROM, it has a lot of good apps. but I have to sync and it wont sync with my computer. Does anyone has the same problem? please advice. I restarted the phone and my computer as well. I have the mobile center for vista and been flashing different ROMs but this one gives me this problem.

From the post on XDA about it (emphasis added):

Manila TV PLayer is a tab to add in TF3D & TF3D2 but in this the landscape don't work properly.

Till they get it working in landscape, just like with the Tachi dialer. I hope versions of EnergyROM continue to be released without it.

I've got SPB TV, Web TV and Sprint TV. All of them work in landscape. I don't want something in the ROM that can't do landscape yet. When they're already plenty of things that play TV and do work in landscape mode.

Manila TV Player has much potential, but without a landscape mode, I don't want to have to bother with it taking up space on my device. Just my opinion.

Try this,

Start,Settings,System,USB, uncheck enable faster transfer.
Reset phone and try again

Hey there, this is one of the best roms I've installed on my phone but was wondering if the startup animation has been disabled can't seem to see on at startup even tried customizing it with Advanced Config...also when I installed Showaco AllTabs BG the clock gets messed up where it will have the correct time but only on the top half of the flip clock and the bottom half has 3 zeros??? One last thing is it possible to get a bubble notification on the people tab when I have a missed call, instead of the notification on the taskbar on top. I'm running the version with the regular dialer, Thanks once again for a great ROM!

I am very disapointed. I have pretty much screwed my phone with this ROM. I try to hard reset, I can't get back to the stock ROM. I try and active sync, my computer wont recognize it. I try and flash via MiniSD card, my phone refuses to recognize the card.

Unless anyone has a suggestion, I am just going to cough up the cash and buy a Palm Pre.

Did you put the phone into boot loader, THEN load the shipped RUU?

I'm sorry you're having an issue.

Just to be clear. You've tried going into Bootloader mode (no need for activesync as it doesn't register in that mode anyways), and flashing either a Stock or new (even this one) ROM again?

I've had no issues, in the past, w/ loading a replacement ROM via the Bootloader if something went wrong w/t he ROM I was using.

Just hold down the power and volume down key with the phone off, and it should power on into the Bootloader. As long as you're using an unlocked BOotloader simply run the update .exe that comes with the ROM's and it should flash just fine assuming you don't have a busted bootloader.

You would be the first reported user that the NRGZ ROM was to blame for a complete failure of the phone... I am sure it is NOT the ROM. Ensure you are following every step carefully to return your phone to stock and you should be good to go.

Did you hard reset after flashing this? Of all else fails wipe device in settings menu then check to see if storage card shows up in file explorer and if computer recognizes phone. Not to be too presumptive,but Rom works too good for too many people for the problem to be it...what have you installed to phone since flashing this ?
