Re: |HERM|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Mercury' (21921) ** || Built July 14th ||

Dont rip me up guys, but I wanted to know if there is a fix for the phone going back to ring only after a soft reset.

I have looked high and low searching but no dice.

Re: |HERM|ROM|6.5|WWE| ** EnergyROM 'Mercury' (21921) ** || Built July 14th ||

After selecting my own TF3D wallpaper once, each subsequent time I click on the Wallpaper section, it displays a red screen. So I cannot select a wallpaper anymore. Soft resets do not help. I've had this with previous builds and I thought I tracked down the responsible CAB for this, but apparently it snuck back in behind my back. I won't have time to track this down until next week, so if anyone else stumbles into this, please let me know. I would even be open to a workaround, as hard booting is not a pleasant step to take in order to just change my wallpaper.

Running 0714
TF3D-related CABs in order of installation - all installed with TF3D turned off:
Remove Picturemail
- soft boot
DrzNight's Stop Blinking
Energy Action Screen
GfxBoost-1.1
GlassClockBack_v2
HTC_Album + Soc Networking
JD Arcsoft 5.2.1.22
No Dotted Lines Home
OrigDefaultWMtexting4Manila
psShutXP Power KeyTP
Psyki Glass Manila Theme
WorldClock_GAlarm
- soft boot
Dutty's Facebook
- soft boot
- re-enable TF3D

It sounds like you're using some programs that were made for a slightly higher res phone like a touch HD. I'm guessing that if you go into landscape (assuming it rotates properly), you should be able to see / select your last 2 entries.

I think it's the album 2.5 that is the issue, I had this problem before. I think if you open the album program and then got set the wallpaper it should work. Alternatly, go back to album 3.0.

So I hit all messages and it shows up as the newest message, but with a timestamp of 835. Am I the only one with this problem? Maybe its an arcsoft setting or something?

Also, has anyone figured out how to disable the stupid l.e.d. light that flashes whenever you get a text message? I've seen the option, I've disabled it, I've even set it to only flash for a minute, but it flashes non-stop. It's annoying me.
Hey dude...I've run into two bugs with the threaded text messaging in the new manilla view. First, the one you're describing. It doesn't always happen, and I wonder if it has anything to do with the World Clock settings, throwing a bug in the time stamp of the texts [?]..I don't think it's an issue in the old view, but I could be wrong.

The second issue I had was ALL of my texts showing up in the threaded view when viewing a conversation with a single contcat. So I go to text "Bob", but instead of the new manilla pulling up my convo with him, I see ALL of my texts in one long thread from all of my contacts. I hit this bug in the 7/14 release, but didn't see anyone else report it, so I figured it was a bad flash. The old manilla view didn't display this bug,s o I was able to use that asa workaround.

You'll risk throwing off your World Clock settings if you have it working right, but you might try experimenting there to see if it has any impact on the time stamp for your texts.

...sorry I haven't run into the LED light issue at all.

Oooo Drama in ROMLand!?

I'm curious as to why some cooks expect to be "Thanked" whenever their stuff is used. I mean, I dont thank Microsoft everytime I peck out a letter in Word. Pfft.

Anyhoo, NRGZ....keep doin' your thing man. I cant believe you fly blind in all of these builds, but damn they are good.

On an actual ROM related note, in the previous 7/9 build, the flashing INCOMING CALL window was minimal, and seems to be back in this version...anyone found tweaks on it yet?

Yes indeed. The 3.0 can't seem to do facebook stuff, but I don't really use that. The old 3.0 was rather broken, so I'm going to try the new one on my next flash (I don't trust the uninstaller on things like this).

I had thought about opening my album, but I just went to the camera page in TF3D. Forgot to actually click on "Album". Duh

Anyway, thanks a ton!!
