Just because a custom rom doesn't show any problems before an update that doesn't mean that an update won't have an issue with something that the hard reset and flash didn't over write.
A stock flash will write all stock files to the correct address in the memory over writing anything that a custom rom left behind. In theory. LOL

they really need to change the way the devices flash to really 0 out all the crap. I meen the time it would take to zero out the device would be minimal with such small flash memory.

but i guess they dont design the phones to be flashed 6 times a week with different builds of an O/S haha

Hey, so anyone still running "Aurora" (8-01)? Man this thing just friggen works. I have not reset it since 8-1, and I leave PocketTwit, Facebook, Google Maps, and Beejive open non-stop. I never notice any lag anywhere. Just awesome I tell you. I did jump on the Lumos bandwagon at the same time and never even think about my battery anymore. It's all just ideal. I really don't want to flash the newer stuff because it is using the new manila and I'd rather not have to just live with the issues with it. Plus the Pimp package is way to cool to have to give up.

Yep, running 8/1 too. Have MS3 and the new manilla doesn't seem worth it at the moment.

8/1 was great and yes it never lagged at all.
And for all the people saying battery sucks, I got about 14+ hours on normal use.

Hell I even had to play games for about two hours or more just to get it from 13% to dead and that was with screen brightness all the way up.

So at that rate it would have taken what? About 8 hours to kill it at full brightness and games running all the time?
Doesn't seem that bad to me.

Of course that would vary depending on anything else installed and running or what tweaks were applied.

I have not spent much time with tweaking the new rom so I am not sure what it will do.
Should be about the same I imagine.
